Replacing w3v3 8" JL audio sub in vented truck box. After I blew my second JL I decided to go focal. Best decision ever. Bass isn't boomy you can hear the bass and not shake mirrors off. Even rated at 250 rms it's does well behind truck seat. If you want clarity bass not all that window rattler crap go with another brand. If you want to hear frequency hertz you'll get them
Pros: Quality vs quantity
Cons: Nothing so far.

The Focal P20f is hands-down the best 8" sub I've ever worked with. The materials are very high quality, the cone gives a natural texture to the sound, and the design keeps the bass extremely tight and punchy. I have a single P20f in the cabin of my Altima and it is just enough to round out the music without being too much. Powering with 300W from a Focal amp, in a .5 cubic foot sealed box. Overall, I absolutely love this sub. If you have the ability to place your subwoofer in the cabin, a single P20f will do wonders. If it must be placed in the trunk, I would instead recommend a single/dual 10" or 12". This is the easiest 5 stars I've given any piece of gear to date.
Pros: -Tight and punchy bass -Exceptional build quality -Looks amazing -High quality connectors -Hits harder than expected -Plays cleanly when pushed hard
Cons: -May not be powerful enough for trunk placement -Does not reach low enough for rap/hip hop/EDM
