The Focal experience
If you prioritize performance in what you drive, why not hold your audio system to the same standards? With the utmost care and commitment to premium sound, Focal designed, developed, and manufactured these Utopia TBM 1" tweeters at their workshop in Saint-Etienne, France. They stun with sonic accuracy and depth of sound on par with those in Focal's highly acclaimed home speakers. Incorporate these tweeters into a custom system with other Focal components and enhance your passion for driving with revealing highs and a sparkling soundstage.
What a Beryllium tweeter can do
Focal's unique 'M'-profile inverted dome tweeter employs Beryllium for its supremely smooth highs. Lighter and more rigid than both titanium and aluminum, this material brings the smoothness of a silk tweeter to your music, but with the accuracy and extended response usually associated with a high-quality metal tweeter. Brace yourself for a new level of detail from these tweeters.

Focal TBM reviews
Better SQ than JL's C7 tweet. As revealing, silky smooth, lifelike and detailed as the Scanspeak Beryllium tweeters the flagship, high-performance home speakers, Wilson Audio and Aerial Acoustics use.
Pros: Perfect sound quality. More like- like, silky smooth, dynamic, crisp, and revealing than any silk some dome.
Cons: Expensive, but lifes short. If you have a pimp system, don't skimp out on anything, but Beryllium tweets.

Magnet Cover: The included covers snap onto the tweeter magnets to create a "small volume" enclosure. The cover can be used with or without the flush mount housings. Without the magnet covers, the tweeters retain their IAL design (Infinite Acoustic Load).
Mounting: The tweeters are already installed in the flush mount housings when shipped. Each housing is mounted using the single screw hole in the rear. In the same way the tweeters are mounted in the housings using four screws, they can be mounted without the housing using the same screw holes. (Useful if your space won't accommodate the size of the housing.) The tweeter depth is 0.585" when mounted without the flush mount housing and with the magnet cover. Once installed the tweeters do not swivel.

Crossover: No crossovers are included with the tweeters, so an electronic (preferred) or passive crossover must be added.
