Weather Alert Radio: The Midland E+Ready Series ER10VP is a compact, portable emergency radio with built-in NOAA & National Weather Service alerts. NOAA/NWS (National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration and the National Weather Service) operates a system of weather and hazard alert broadcasts covering most of the United States. Typical broadcasts are within reception distance of 25-50 miles of the weather station. The ER10VP can receive broadcasts up to 50 miles from the weather station depending on your location and conditions of weather, terrain, etc. If reception is not good, try a different location to find a spot of improved reception. If indoors, placement near a window usually improves reception.

AM/FM Radio: In addition to the 7 weather-band channels, the Midland ER10VP offers a built-in AM/FM radio to listen to your favorite AM and FM radio stations.
Telescopic Antenna: The Midland ER10VP is outfitted with a 9" telescopic antenna for the AM/FM and weather band radio. Fully extend the telescopic antenna and rotate until reception is clear.
LED Flashlight: The Midland E+Ready radio is equipped with an extremely bright flashlight. You can use the LED flashlight as a SOS-Morse code beacon for emergency assistance. The flashlight provides Low & High brightness settings to conserve battery life.
Battery Powered: The Midland ER10VP is powered by 3 AA batteries (included).
Digital Clock: The Midland ER310 also features a built-in digital clock.
