Excited to receive the ER310 after long wait. Unfortunately speaker doesn't work. Customer rep Devin was very helpful and they are sending me a replacement, but backordered, so long wait again and some inconvenience.
Pros: Looks nice. Like the features.
Cons: Unable to use, speaker doesn't work.

Victoria from Boardman, OH on 5/13/2022
I have been trying to buy the Midland ER310 E+Ready for at least a year but it's always sold out. I was extremely happy when Crutchfield notified me they had it back in stock! It was also less expensive than the Midland website. It arrived quickly and so far is everything I hoped for.
Pros: quick setup dog whistle larger size rechargeable battery good sound

High Quality, Excellent Features
Donald from Columbia, SC on 5/11/2022
I found the Midland ER310 E+READY to be a high-quality unit. It arrived in perfect condition, was very easy to understand the instructions and use all its functions. I really like the fact that it has a hand crank in case the battery runs low and has the ability to charge a cell phone in the event we experience a loss of electrical power for more than a day. In today's world you never know what could happen. I like it so much I recommend that each of my adult children get one. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an emergency radio.
Pros: Backup hand crank ability to charge cell phones, great reception
Cons: None

Just what my father-in-law was looking for. This is replacing a decades old weather radio. Kudos to Crutchfield for having it in stock and to us in two days. Another online retailer (that is named after a rain forest) could get it to us in two weeks at the earliest.

Crutchfield customer from Longs, SC on 5/19/2021
Works great good reception I dropped on star because there is no way to filter the emergency alarm types. The first time it went of lights flashed loud siren (would wake the dead) which was all to the good but it was a report about thunderstorms. We get them all the time I was hoping I could limit to tornado warnings but I dont see how that possible. So I simply shut of the warning thuis turning this into just a good weather radio
Pros: good weather radio
Cons: Alarm is to general can restrict to type

Emergency gear addition
Crutchfield customer from Albany, GA on 2/1/2021
So far I am very impressed with this unit. It is not too large, so it can be transported easily. Speaker sounds great and when the weather alert sounds, you definitely hear it! I love that it has the hand crank, solar, and alkaline batteries as well as rechargeable battery pack. The only thing I would change would be letting the antennae rotate after it is extended, so it won't have to rest on the flashlight part. I love the sos flashing feature of the flashlight, too. We will use this camping, as well as if that day arrives where we have to use our survival bag!
Pros: Size, battery, solar, radio channels, weather alert
Cons: Antennae doesn't rotate, which we can live with

The reception on this radio (at least on FM) is above average for a radio of this size. I am also impressed with the flashlight, which is quite bright. This is a great device for peace-of-mind for an emergency or while camping. My only complaint is that the on button for the radio can be easy to push accidentally, which runs the risk of accidentally turning it on. As with all radios of this type, charging using either the solar panel or the crank can take a long time, so you will want to keep it charged using USB and treat the solar/crank options as an emergency backup. Overall, this seems to be well-built.

Excellent must-have for emergency prep
Crutchfield customer from Santa Barbara, CA on 7/8/2020
I researched many emergency radios before I decided on this one, made a good choice! Very pleased with this unit. Nice looking, good sound quality, easy to transport or leave on a counter or shelf to listen to regular radio. Emergency stations come in loud and clear.
Pros: Attractive, easy to transport. Rugged case looks like it will withstand rough handling easily. Like that there are several methods to charge battery, to cover various situations. Good sound quality, not tinny like many small radios. Bright flashlight. An all-around good piece of equipment to have on hand for emergencies.
Cons: None.

Exactly what I needed
Crutchfield customer from Salem, OR on 5/19/2020
Exactly what I expected from Midland. The radio was easy to set up out of the box, easily tuned to the strongest NOAA channel and immediately began to transmit weather updates. Walked the radio into my basement and after adjusting the antenna a bit, the signal was strong and transmission was clear. It seems to be of good quality, is easy to use and I'm glad I purchased from a reputable company. I can highly recommend.
Pros: Good quality, good reception in varying locations, light is bright

The last few years we have endured some power outages and of course all the communications coming into the house. This radio is great for those times with no worry the batteries will be dead. Along with the built in light and weather bands, it does exactly what we need it for.

After loosing power during Irma it was difficult to find a clear radio channel on my old radio. Not knowing what was going was very stressful. In searching for a replacement I came across this Midland product. My selection was based on the many different ways to charge this unit. If all those somehow fail then you can still use AA batteries. Very clear reception on radio and many other options. I feel very confident we can ride out many storms to come.
Pros: So many charging options
