Seeing is believing

The Boss BV755BLC DVD receiver does a lot for the money — and with the included rear-view camera it's an even better deal. This DVD receiver's 6.2" display features easy-to-use controls for your sources, plus built-in Bluetooth® for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming from your smartphone. Even better — Boss backs up your investment with a 3-year warranty.

Stay safe in tight spots

The 6.2" screen comes in handy for viewing images from Boss's included rear-view camera. The image engages automatically when you shift into reverse, or you can access the camera's view through the stereo's touchscreen. You'll be able to see nearby car bumpers and other hazards lurking in blind spots.

Bluetooth makes your drive better

With Bluetooth, you'll enjoy all the content on your smartphone — stored music, streaming services like Pandora and Spotify, podcasts, and audiobooks. Android™ or iPhone®, it's yours to enjoy through wireless streaming. Plus you can take and make calls while keeping your hands on the wheel — an awesome safety feature when you're making your daily commute. Boss built in a sensitive Bluetooth microphone for your calls, located on the receiver's faceplate for a simpler installation.

Video entertainment

When your car is parked, you can use the screen to view video content from DVDs, SD™ cards, or USB thumb drives. If you want to take your show on the road, connect video screens to the receiver's video outputs and keep your backseat passengers entertained.

More ways to enjoy your music

Play music back from DVDs or CDs, or load up a USB drive or SD card with your digital music, plug them in and let them play for hours. Use the front auxiliary input to connect a portable player. For sound shaping, this Boss includes an 8-band EQ. Three sets of preamp outputs make it easier to connect amplifiers to get more impact out of your system.

Bluetooth note: Use of this receiver's Bluetooth features will depend upon your phone's Bluetooth capabilities. Learn more in our article explaining Bluetooth profiles.

The BV755B allows you to carry on the phone conversation using the head unit's integrated microphone and your car audio speakers. Your music will mute automatically during a call. Q
Does music continue playing while the backup camera is active? Or does it mute it?
    [ gartro  Aug 02, 2019 ]
    3 answers
    A
It will mute it. I believe it does that because you are switching from one feature to the next. It's like switching from tuner to streaming. It's like asking why can't I hear my CD playing while I look at what radio station its on. If your looking for those top of the line features then you have to step up to top of the line equipment. You can't expect your cheaper brand shoes to act like Nike.
    [ Sean  Aug 03, 2019 ]
    A
It continues to play but all controls are disabled (volume, tuning, etc)
    [ Kevin  Aug 03, 2019 ]
    A
Music continues to play. In fact, I can't adjust the volume while the backup camera is on. It's a weird feature.

    Q
A recent review said the backup camera only works manually, doesn't this camera have the ability to work automatically if you wire it into the reverse light wiring?
    [ Rick  Jul 05, 2019 ]
    5 answers
    A
Yes. Find your reverse bulb wires. connect positive and negative wires. Make sure you're making good connections.
    [ billy  Jul 06, 2019 ]
    A
Yes camera turns on automatically with reverse. But steering wheel controls will only control volume and mode and NOT preset tuning. Technical support confirmed this
    [ chris  Jul 05, 2019 ]
    A
Yes, it comes on when we put the car in reverse. It's very basic wiring, a quick Google search for backup cameras can give you the info you want.
    [ Don  Jul 05, 2019 ]
    A
Yes this is exactly what I did
    [ Jill  Jul 05, 2019 ]
    A
I wired mine to the reverse light. I also have to manually turn on the back up camera to see the picture.

    A
    No
    [ scott  Jun 24, 2019 ]
    A
    No it is not wireless
    [ CARL  Jun 23, 2019 ]
    A
No. Requires wiring from the camera to the head unit and to the backup light.
    [ Kevin  Jun 23, 2019 ]
    A
It is not wireless. It comes with a video wire that you have to run. I have a truck and the wire is barely long enough to run from the license plate, along the side, inside the drivers door, and into the back of the radio. You have to also wire in power to the camera. I spliced into the reverse lights, the camera turns on automatically when I shift into reverse. Works perfect.
    [ Ryan  Jun 23, 2019 ]
    A
    No

    Q
Can a external mic be added for handsfree?
    [ T  Jun 05, 2019 ]
    4 answers
    A
I dont recall the inputs when I installed mine. There is a built in mic that works okay. However, if you turn the volume up too loud, the person you're talking to will hear and echo.
    [ W  Jun 08, 2019 ]
    A
I do not believe so, BUT, this is something that you would want to chat with Crutchfield service for, I may be wrong.
    [ James  Jun 06, 2019 ]
    A
it has already a built in mic for hands free calling thru bluetooth, as per adding a external mic, i don"t think so, there is no port for external mic. I use mine the built in mic and it's just fine for normal conversations.
    [ Ramil  Jun 06, 2019 ]
    A
There is a mic on the face of the head unit. It works fairly well for hands free.
    [ Christopher  Jun 05, 2019 ]

    [ Vincent  May 31, 2019 ]

Not for this price point. No nav.
    [ Don  May 31, 2019 ]

    [ Joe  May 31, 2019 ]

    [ Don  Jul 05, 2019 ]

It must be built In, or its using my phone. The phone book doesn't work well but the connection via bluetooth is solid
    [ scott  May 13, 2019 ]

It seems to. I made a call to my wife with my phone outside the car and she could hear me. She said the quality isn't great though. Good enough for a conversation.

I just intalled this on a 2002 e350 and the cruise control on the wheel is not ran through the radio, but this unit does not fit flush unless you cut some steel supports. I do not suggest it for your rig. Hope this helps

    Q
In the details for my Ram 2500 it says if I replace my factory deck I'll lose my aux inputs. My truck has 2 USB ports in the center council. I keep my iPod in there and plugged in so I can hear my music. Is that considered the same as the aux port? In my experience auxiliary ports are headphone jacks. I don't want to lose the use of these USB ports.
    [ Mike  Apr 30, 2019 ]

    A
The AUX is different than the USB. Depending on the exact year of the RAM we may have installation gear to retain those factory inputs. You can connect with one of our friendly product advisors to find out: https://bit.ly/2QNxGQB
