Since I really have no in-dash space for the installation of a stereo receiver on my boat, will use the water resistant enclosure in order to install inside a small storage area in the center console to protect the radio. [ JORGE  Jun 18, 2017 ]
A
using the radio with a 12 volt dc power supply on my patio. would be nice to have a battery back up so I wouldn't have to redo all the settings with a power outage [ lorren  May 08, 2017 ]

To protect my reciever [ Dave  May 05, 2017 ]
A
I need an external mounting solution for a standard format radio on a pontoon boat. I'm replacing a small format radio faceplate & remote box unit with a standard format radio. Don't have room in my console for a standard format radio and weather proof cover. From what I have read very few marine radios are truly waterproof, particularly ones with cd slots. [ Dale  Sep 08, 2016 ]
A
I chose this to mount a Marine radio into a 1989 Marlin Skier. It doesn't have a location for a stereo, so this is going under the dash vertically, mounted to the left of the drivers left leg. [ James  Jun 14, 2016 ]
