Features

Tweeters: The tweeters are PEI (Poly-Ether-Imide) balanced-domes; PEI is a polymer film that produces a wide soundstage for superior imaging. A semi-dome tweeter has a dome placed inside a cone. Balanced dome tweeters are semi-dome tweeters with equal reproduction area given the cone and dome portions of the tweeter.

Tweeter Mounting Options: The tweeters can be surface mounted without adding anything to their fixed housings. Brackets are also included to allow angled surface mounting (approximately 30°).

Tweeter Crossovers: The tweeter crossovers are wired in-line with the included speaker wire. The input end is bare wire and the woofer end has female quick slides to connect to the woofer terminal. The 50" tweeter section of the wire is shorted to the woofer quick slides, and also has quick slides on the tweeter end, which plug into the wire attached to the tweeter.

Whatâ??s the inner depth of the speaker?

I had downloaded the PDF from the KENWOOD site for these speakers. On the 2nd page, it shows 5.4mm (7/32") + 45mm (1-25/32") of overall depth. That adds up to 49.4mm or 2" and does not include the depth/thickness of the Kenwood grill. Mine are mounted behind the RAV4 grill that is part of the door upholstery.

They sure can work with an amp that outputs up to 55 watts RMS at 4 ohms!

Can I use the stock speaker wire for or do I need to buy some? Does it come with wires for the woofers?

This does come with a crossover that has built-in wiring that connects to the woofer, has a 50" long leg of wire to connect to the tweeter, and a 13.5' input leg. The input leg can be connected to the stock wiring for the times that works with the radio in the vehicle

Yes you can use the factory or existing speaker wiring to connect, just be careful to watch the polarity and make it is consistent for each speaker in the system. You may need to adapt or splice the existing vehicle wiring to match the speaker terminals on the actual\speaker. I believe that these speakers come with a short or maybe long, wiring assembly with the correct speaker terminals installed. You then need to splice to your factory wiring as mentioned above.
