Alexa voice control

After you load the Alexa app onto your phone and pair your phone to this JVC receiver, simply press the dedicated "Alexa" button on the faceplate, and you can access music, audiobooks, news, weather, traffic, and smart home controls using your voice.

Hands-free calling and wireless music streaming

Into streaming audio? JVC's Streaming DJ feature lets you pair five phones so everybody can pick their tunes for the ultimate road trip party. For the times when you're sharing the ride, the KD-T910BTS enables you to pair two phones and quickly switch between them for hands-free calling. You can wirelessly stream and control simple playback functions of just about any Internet radio service, including Spotify, TIDAL, and Qobuz. You can also control this stereo directly from your iPhone® or Android™ phone by downloading JVC's free Remote app.

Lots of radio

You can connect a SiriusXM tuner (not included) for seriously strong satellite radio programming that won't fade away when you head out on the highway. You can plug your iPhone into the front-panel USB port, you can play and control your favorite Pandora stations for hours of variety. Don't worry Android users, you can control your Pandora stations using Bluetooth. And, of course, you can also tune in your favorite local AM and FM stations.

More ways to enjoy your music

The KD-T910BTS provides even more ways to get some music going, including a CD player and front aux input for a portable music player. Using the front-panel USB port or Bluetooth, and control your stored music while you charge your iPhone. Android users, you can play your music using Bluetooth. The USB port can also handle music stored on a thumb drive, including high-resolution FLAC music files.

Tweak the sounds and the look

You can refine your sound with this receiver's onboard tone-shaping capabilities, including its 13-band graphic equalizer and time alignment feature. JVC's K2 technology uses some unique processing to improve the sound of just about anything you play. If your front speakers are located down low in the doors, the Sound Lift feature adjusts your music's frequencies to virtually "raise" your speakers for better, more natural imaging. If you're adding an amplifier or a powered subwoofer, two sets of preamp outputs provide you the clean signal you need for added output.

This receiver's 2-line white display provides all your music and caller info, while its variable-color illumination lets you pick the colors for two different areas of the faceplate. There are even ten animated light choices, and the Music Sync feature lets the lights dance to the music.

Bluetooth note: Use of this receiver's Bluetooth features will depend upon your phone's Bluetooth capabilities. Learn more in our article explaining Bluetooth profiles.

iPod/smartphone note: If you're going to use your iPod or smartphone with this receiver, be sure to check "Details" for compatibility information.

You can adjust the volume level, noise cancellation, and echo cancellation of the microphone without affecting the other sources. The external microphone features an attached 10' cable terminated by a right-angle 3.5mm connector which plugs into the mic input on the rear-panel of the head unit. The microphone offers an integrated mounting bracket which can be clipped to your vehicle's sun-visor or taped to your dash.

Playback & Search Functions: The JVC KD-T910BTS offers a variety of playback and search functions to help you find and enjoy your music on disc and USB.

    • Track/Folder List: The Track/Folder List displays a list of music folders and tracks on an inserted CD or USB device, so you can easily access your music.
    • Repeat: Track Repeat (plays the current track repeatedly), Folder Repeat (plays all tracks of the current folder repeatedly), Off (cancels repeat function)
    • Random: Folder Random (plays all tracks of the current folder, then the tracks of the next folder in random), All Random (plays all tracks of the current disc at random), Off (cancels random function)
    • Resume: If you change the source, playback also stops (without ejecting the disc or USB device). Next time you select CD or USB for the playback source, the player will start from where it has been stopped previously.

Front-Panel Auxiliary Input: A front-panel stereo minijack is provided to allow the connection of almost any portable audio source with a 3.5mm headphone output. Simply connect your portable digital music player to the unit's front-panel auxiliary input, and you can listen to the audio from the portable player through the speakers in your mobile audio system.

    Audio Section

24 Bit D/A Converter: The JVC KD-T910BTS in-dash CD receiver utilizes a 24-bit (DAC (digital-to-analog converter) for superior sound quality.

MOSFET Amplifier: The JVC KD-T910BTS is equipped with a MOSFET amplifier. Compared to conventional power supplies, the MOSFET amplification circuit is smaller and more efficient, and it delivers increased power with less distortion and absolutely zero on/off switching noise. More power means louder and cleaner music at higher volumes because you're not pushing the limits of the amplification circuit. The power output specs for the KD-T910BTS are as follows:

    • Full Bandwidth Power: 22 watts RMS x 4 channels (at 4 ohms, 20-20kHz, 1% THD)
    • Maximum Output Power: 50 watts x 4 channels (200 total watts)

Amp Gain: When you are using the KD-T910BTS with factory speakers (or those rated to less than 50 watts peak), the Amplifier Gain Control can limit the amount of power being sent to those speakers. When the Amp Gain Control is set to "low," the volume control ranges from 0 (minimum) to 25 (maximum). When using speakers rated higher than 50 watts peak, you can set the Amp Gain Control to "high," and the volume control will range from 0 to 35.

2.5V/4CH Preamp Output: The KD-T910BTS is equipped with two pair of 2.5V preamp outputs (Front, Rear/SW). You can set the Rear/SW preamp outputs for connecting a pair of full-range rear speakers (through an external amplifier) or for connecting a subwoofer (through an external amplifier). When set for rear speakers, the rear outputs operate with the unit's fader control. When set for subwoofer, these outputs are non-fading and offer an independent level control (-50 to +10).

Subwoofer Speaker Connection: You can connect a subwoofer to this head unit without the need of a separate power amplifier. Simply connect a single subwoofer (4-8 ohm) directly to head unit's left rear speaker leads (the right rear speaker output will be muted). The rated power output for the subwoofer speaker channel remains 22 watts. Same subwoofer controls apply, except the, subwoofer level adjustment is from -6 to+3.

Vehicle Setup: In order to optimize the sound quality in your vehicle, you can indentify the type of vehicle you have and the rear speaker location, as well as configure listening distances.

    • Car Type: Select your car type to automatically set the delay time of each speaker for timing adjustment of sound output of each channel to have the highest surround effect. Choose from Compact, Full Size Car, Wagon, Mini Van, SUV, or Off
    • Rear Speaker Location: You can indicate the location of your vehicle's Rear speakers. Choose from Door, Rear Deck, 2nd Row, or 3rd Row.
    • DTA (Digital Time Alignment): For a better sound-stage you can select your optimal listening position. You can choose from All, Front Left, Front Right or Front. You can also select to manually fine tune the sound stage, using Digital Time Alignment (DTA) by selecting the distance (0-20') for each individual speaker in the vehicle compared to your listening position.

Crossover Network: The JVC KD-T910BTS lets you choose between a 2-way or 3-way crossover network for your car audio application.

    Q
If installed in a slot that is smaller than the radio, can I store things under the radio/ will there be a usable space under it?
    [ JOEL  Jun 27, 2022 ]
    1 answer
    A
Greetings Joel, and thank you for your question. Factory radios are for the most part bigger than these aftermarket stereos, most cases anyway. The vehicles need dash install kits to mount the new stereo in. Depending on the vehicle, some of the dash kits we carry have a pocket either below or above the radio to store things. If you use the "what fits my vehicle guide on our site, enter your vehicle, and add the stereo to your cart, you will be asked to add the installation gear. You will see a picture of the dash kit for your vehicle then.

Yes..biggest problem I have had with this unit is that recently it keeps losing the time. It shows my name on the screen when it is turned on...can't remember, but think you just put whatever in for a default display. Digital so it shows the station, name of program or song, etc.

I don't have the answer for this. The one I purchased was for my granddaughter. However, I will say that my son (who is mechanically inclined) was impressed with the ease to get it install. I will ask her when she's back in the state. Have you went out and looked for an app that might connect the two?
    [ SUSAN  Sep 20, 2021 ]

Whatever you have on your phone or mobile device, it will play audio through either Bluetooth or USB

Is this usable with a jbl 602c club series component speaker system?
    [ Darthj  Jul 16, 2021 ]
    1 answer
    A
Any 4 to 8 ohm speakers will be fine and the one you mentioned is to be used with the kit crossover box. Wire the speakers to that crossover correctly and then a set of wires from that crossover to the speaker connections matching + and - correctly. Follow instruction one both items for wiring 2 speakers or 4 speaker set correctly.
