The db690 6"x9" speaker combines a polymer/mica composite woofer with a rubber surround to keep the bass crisp and clean. I have these speakers installed in my Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab (front doors). They sound outstanding in combination with db650's in the rear doors. They're very clean and have smooth clear mids and highs. Punchy, clean bass. You can't go wrong with Polk speakers. They're a great value.
