About the Polk Audio/MOMO MM10
Why wait to show off your Polk/MOMO subwoofer? Polk's MM10 features a rock-solid, heavy-duty enclosure that houses a single Polk/MOMO 10" sub and they're perfectly matched for the best possible performance! Install it in your vehicle, hook up to an amplifier, and you've got bass that looks and sounds super.
With Polk Audio in charge of the sound and motorsports accessories specialist MOMO in charge of the styling, Polk/MOMO subs stand out from the pack. They'll deliver deep, hard-hitting bass, thanks to an aluminum-treated ABS cone, high-roll butyl rubber surround, and patented cast aluminum basket. The rear gasket is removable for "show" installations.
The enclosure is constructed from 1" non-resonant Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) finished in a durable high-gloss enamel. An airtight gasket with 26 Allen screws secures the 1/2" curved, polished Plexiglas window to the cabinet so everybody can check out the sub in action. Nickel-plated push terminals accept up to 10-gauge speaker wire for efficient power transfer.

Enclosure Features
Cast Aluminum MOMO Basket: The futuristic-looking woofer basket is designed to mimic MOMO wheel designs. The basket is finished with glossy silver metallic paint.
Motor Assembly: The 4 lb., 2 oz. magnet is covered by a metal cup made to match the basket's styling. The outside of the cup is finished with glossy silver metallic paint. A red/black acrylic plate with the MOMO and Polk Audio logo is attached to the bottom of the cup.
Cone Material: The woofer cone is made with Aluminum-clad injection-molded concave ABS plastic. The cone is light, but strong enough to maintain its shape at high output levels. The cone is extremely stiff to withstand the pressures generated inside of a small enclosure without breakup or distortion.
Surround Material: A high-roll, butyl rubber surround is used to guarantee long-term reliability and extended cone excursion with exceptional control.
Voice Coil: A four layer, 2" diameter voice coil design is wrapped around a high temperature Kapton former that maintains its shape even under extreme conditions.
Vented Pole Piece: The vented pole piece lets air circulate over the voice coil to keep it cool and your music sounding great.
Spider: A flat, Conex Spider on a vented spider platform is used for lower distortion, more linear motion and better support.
1" MDF: The enclosure is made of 1" MDF for durability and to eliminate any resonance.
Plexiglas: The back of the enclosure is covered with 1/2" thick curved Plexiglas to show off the MOMO basket styling.
Closed Cell Foam: To help eliminate resonance, the enclosure is lined with 1/2" thick closed cell foam.
Terminals: The speaker terminals are on the bottom of the enclosure with a channel to run the wire to the front or rear. The terminal is a post-style nickel-plated spring clip, which will accept pin connecters or bare wire up to 10 gauge.
Wire: Polk uses 14 gauge wiring inside the enclosure to lessen any voltage loss.
