Features

Components: The Polk Audio RM7200 Home Theater speaker system consists of four identical video-shielded satellites (RM3300SAT) with a matching video-shielded center channel (RM3600CC). All speakers are perfectly timbre matched and feature Polk's anti-diffraction bezel for better imaging and excellent off-axis performance. Dynamic Balance drivers are used for wide, smooth frequency response and low distortion. The mineral-filled Dynamic Balance midranges (one on each satellite speaker, two on the center channel speaker) feature a rubber surround for smoother response and improved durability. The satellites and center speaker use a metalized fabric dome tweeter for clear, detailed highs. Included in this system is the Polk PSW550 8" powered subwoofer, which has a 100-watt RMS high-current amplifier.

RM3300 Satellites:

• Dimensions: Width = 6.75", Height = 8.00", Depth = 4.00"
• Video Shielded: this allows placement near a TV without distortion of the TV picture

Note: Upon arrival, there are plastic plugs inserted into the banana plug openings on the binding posts; it will be necessary to remove the plastic plugs before inserting banana plugs.
• Built-In Wall Mounting System: a single keyhole slot is provided on the back of the Power Port. A #10 screw (not included) is recommended for mounting the speaker to a wall stud or wall anchor.
• Weight: each satellite weighs 4.6 pounds

RM3600 Center Channel:

PSW550 Subwoofer:

• Amplifier: the 8" front-firing subwoofer is powered by a high-current 100-watt amplifier

• Power Port: there is a floor-coupled (down-firing) bass port that allows deep bass with high acoustic efficiency and low distortion
• Auto On/Off: the Auto on/off circuit automatically turns the subwoofer on when it senses a program signal and turns off the amplifier after approximately 15 minutes without a signal
• Video Shielded: the subwoofer is magnetically shielded and can be safely placed near your television
• Removable Grille: includes a removable black cloth grille
• Weight: the subwoofer weighs 39 lbs.

Controls

Subwoofer Rear Panel:

• Volume: rotary subwoofer level control
• Low Pass (Hz): variable crossover adjustable from 60-160Hz. This has no effect when you are using the LFE preamp input. 
• Power Switch: three-position switch. You can select "Auto", which turns the unit on automatically when an input signal is received and off after about 15 minutes without an input signal; "On", which keeps the unit on until it is switched off, or "Off", which turns the unit completely off (instead of placing it in a standby mode).
• Phase Switch: allows you to select normal or reverse for best bass
• Power LED: the LED glows RED when the unit is off and GREEN when it is on. There is no way to defeat this circuitry.

Inputs and Outputs

Subwoofer Rear Panel:

• Speaker Level Input/Output: spring clip connections for front speaker level input and output
• Line In (filtered): gold-plated RCA stereo pre-amp level input . When using the pre-amp level input, the unit's low-pass filter control sets the low-pass crossover point of the subwoofer. A Y-adapter (not supplied) should be used if the source unit has only a single subwoofer RCA pre-out.
• LFE In (unfiltered): single LFE/Subwoofer Mono RCA preamp input. This input is for use on source units that apply a low-pass crossover to their preamp subwoofer/LFE output (such as THX certified units or most Dolby Digital receivers).

Warranty Note

Warranty: The warranty on the subwoofer amplifier is 3 years parts and labor. The warranty on all of the drivers is 5 years parts and labor.

Manual Correction

Manual Correction: The manual incorrectly lists the impedance of the RM3300 satellite speakers a 4 ohms. The speakers are 8 ohms.
