Reference sound, really cool lights

These marine-rated Infinity Reference 6-1/2" speakers will bring great sound and cool lighting to any vessel. Made for outdoor use, these rugged speakers can handle up to 75 watts RMS and they're designed to cut through wind and engine noise when you're out on the water.

When you buy Infinity Reference speakers, great sound is a given. But these speakers also give you attractive RGB LED lighting that'll add style to your boat.

Ready for the outdoors

Compared to car speakers, marine speakers live a pretty harsh life. There's sun, spray, salt, and extreme temperatures, plus the occasional fish that gets loose on the deck. These Infinity speakers are ready for all of it, with one-piece polymer baskets, marine-ready componentry, and UV-resistant grilles that will stand up to spray and punishing sunlight for years to come.

These marine speakers are available in Titanium or White.

Product Research

Tweeters: The balanced dome tweeters are bridge mounted to the grilles, rather than to a pole piece, thus there is no chance of water leaking through the woofer cone.

LED Illumination: Integrated into each grille, on the back of the tweeter casing is a red/green/blue LED assembly, to create a glow on the woofer cone. A 12 volt power supply is needed to turn the LEDs on; depending on what combination of LED wires is connected, they light red, green, blue, yellow, purple, aquamarine, or white. A 4-wire pigtail is provided for supplying power to the built-in LEDs.

Size: With a required cutout diameter of approximately 5", these speakers fit into the openings for standard 6-1/2" car speakers, but the frame is much bigger than a typical 6-1/2" and the screw hole pattern is different. Because the grille is not designed to be removed, the mounting height is also greater than most car speakers. For these reasons, the speakers won't fit in most car applications.

Customer Q&A

6 questions already asked

What is the LED max amp draw per circuit, per speaker? The LED controller I have has a max of 6 amp per circuit. And does a circuit equal each color RGB wire or just the positive (+) black wire? I have searched the owner's manual and cannot find what should be a simple answer. I would like to add additional LED lights with the speakers but this is holding me back.

Hi Ronald, thank you for your question! The amp draw for the LED lighting is a very minuscule amount, but to help us better answer your question, and get a little more info on your application, one of our expert marine Advisors will be reaching out to you!

I don't have exact specs. I went to boatpluglight com and ordered their controllers and LED amps. They can explain it better. I have 6 speakers with RGB LEDs and 3 under water lights. I used 1 controller and 3 amps.

Where can I get a remote to control the light colors?

I got mine from West Marine because I wanted one that would mount in the helm and was for marine use. It works fine but because it is a RGBW it doesn't turn the speakers on white, which is not really a true white. But when I add RGB+W light strips or white LED'S I can control all from controller. This was a steep learning curve and still don't completely understand. I do know that if all 3 RGB's are connected it will make white on the speakers but the WM controller will not do that.

We carry a few different LED light controllers! Some that can work with 2 pairs of speakers and others that can work with more LED lighting. I recommend contacting an advisor on 1-800-324-9695 to get a recommendation for your setup

Crutchfield should be able to help you

My local stereo shop orderd me an rbg control box And 2x remote controls. Ask for boat unit. Most popular.
[ ROBERT  Oct 08, 2019 ]
What do I look for in an amp for these? I will have a total of 4 or 2 sets in my boat and no sub. I have limited space for an amp but don't want a piece of junk either

Thanks for your question. For information on selecting the best amp I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to help determine the differences between the amp models and help you make the best choice for your system.

Does the led colors automatically come on, or do I need a separate controller?
[ Kelly  Aug 08, 2020 ]
5 answers
You need a separate controller if you want to change the colors. You could wire it so the same color is on all the time without a controller put what fun is that?
[ Edward  Aug 09, 2020 ]
Also you can hard wire the lights to stay on in a certain color if you like
[ Jake  Aug 09, 2020 ]
You need to buy an RGB controller
[ Bryson  Aug 09, 2020 ]
You'll need to purchase an LED controller in order for the LED's to work.
[ Michael  Aug 08, 2020 ]
You will need a radio that has rgb controller in it or get a separate controller
