Customer Q&A

2 questions already asked

Q
Do the 303s speakers come with a crossover that alow them to be ran active off there own amp channel?
[ TRAVIS  Jan 08, 2023 ]

A
They do, Travis! These fantastic Infinity midrange speakers are designed to work with Kappa Series component systems which include crossovers that can be switched to 3-way mode. Infinity also includes bandpass crossovers if you are using these without the matching components for excellent tonal balance when using these with any stereo system. Make sure your amp does not exceed the 55-watt RMS ratings and you are golden!

Q
If these 55W 303S are on the same channel as 693C components, 3-way, how can they handle 145W? I'm not understanding the physics. Wouldn't they blow? Thanks!
[ JAMES  Dec 28, 2022 ]
1 answer
A
The combined crossover network of the 693C and 303S allows for more wattage to be used without damaging the drivers. Bass frequencies require the most power to reproduce. Mids and highs require less power to be reproduced, and as such the mid and tweeter receive less power via the crossover network.
