Great overall sound and fit. Definitely lacking on the low end but nothing a small sub can't fix.

I love these speakers. The sound is awesome. However, installation was a bit tricky. If you're not mechanically inclined, I highly recommend having a professional install them. I'm in the trades and have been working with my hands my entire life, and I needed to put some of my experience to work installing these. So if you're not that type of guy, get some help, you'll need it. The sound is awesome. Buying a small amp this week to power them.

Pros: Great sound. Crisp highs.

Cons: Install was a little tough.

Very clean sound, as expected from Infinity. I have been a fan of Infinity speakers since I bought my first pair of RS3bs back in 1985. Although they were bought by Harmon a while back, they still didn't let me down!

Excellent speakers! The improvement over the OEM speakers is remarkable!!

Pros: Great sound at a reasonable price.

Cons: It would have been nice to have an OEM connector for the tweeters, but no big deal.

The REF-5030cx is a major step up from the factory 6 x 8 component system. The sound is reference quality. All of my issues are with the installation of these in the factory locations. If you want a flush mount in the factory tweeter location then that is a no. However, the package includes an eyeball type mount that will allow it to pivot but it will protrude about a half inch. Also, the tweeter is half the diameter of the factory. The woofer is not 5 1/4. It is smaller so the included adapter's opening is slightly larger. I used a hot glue gun to seal it to the adapter. The biggest issue of all is the crossover. Big pain to find a place for it that doesn't interfere with the window glass and retain the factory wiring!

Pros: Great sound. The pros still out-weigh the cons.

Cons: Instructions are just horrible. Pictorial only and covers all Infinity models. Does not include any additional wiring for the pre wired tweeter terminals. Wierd.

I replaced the 7 year old paper cone factory speakers in my F150 super crew cab with these and the Infinity REF-8632CFX, keeping the factory stereo. I used the recommended XTC speaker baffles on both sets. There is no bass at all, with any type of music, and before you conclude that I'm referring to that sub-bass, door-rattling thump, let me say that even passengers that don't care about music invariably remark on their own about the absence of any bass. I don't know if the baffles are to blame? Very disappointed, to say the least. The clarity and openness of the upper ranges are very good. I am going to try a powered, compact subwoofer to rescue this set-up.

I have owned Infinity Reference speakers before. They provided very good sound in the past and they do now as well. I chose these speakers for 2 reasons. The first reason was based on past performance. The 2nd reason is the they are efficient with a sensitivity of 93 dB. My Sony front end provides 22 W RMS w/peaks of 55. These speakers can get quite load, without losing clarity, with that seemingly modest amount of power. I'll probably add a sub to round out low end of the freq spectrum. Otherwise, I couldn't be more satisfied. Crutchfield, as always, provides outstanding service which I why I purchased these through them.

Kind of disappointing really ... these were the Crutchfield website recommended Infinity's for the rear doors on my Tundra DoubleCab ... I suspected at 5 1/4" they wouldn't be that good and I was correct ... the same in 6 1/2" in the fronts (REF-6530cx) are awesome but these in the rear not so much, they just don't pack the same punch as the bigger ones ... in fact I think it sounded better with just the OEM units in the rear. I'm pretty sure a set of the 6 1/2's would have fit in the rear doors and should have gone with my gut on this one and got a second set of those instead ...

Product sounds good easy to install. Not all parts shipped originally. Had to call back to get the speaker brackets shipped. Rode around with doors torn apart for a few days. The bright side was the customer service representatives are top of the line

Pros: Customer/tech support.

Cons: Not a complete shipment of parts.
