JBL says the Boombox 2 gives you “the loudest, most massive JBL signature Pro Sound” from a portable Bluetooth speaker. This powerful speaker pumps out bass you can actually feel. And it can do it all day long. The Boombox 2's powerful built-in battery delivers up to 24 hours of non-stop music. And it's completely waterproof, so feel free to party poolside, at the beach, or on the slopes.
Crank it up
The Boombox 2 features two 3/4" tweeters for crisp, clean highs and a pair of 4" woofers for mids and lows. The woofers couple with dual side-firing passive radiators to produce all of that bass. When plugged in, the system is powered by 80 watts of continuous power, or 60 watts in battery mode. And JBL's advanced digital signal processing ensures the Boombox 2 projects rich, full sound without distortion, even when you crank it up.
Wireless control with JBL Connect app
JBL's control app is a free download for your Apple® or Android™ device. It lets you remotely control volume, EQ settings, and more. With the app, you can activate PartyBoost — a feature that lets you wirelessly connect multiple compatible JBL speakers for an even bigger sound. How many speakers can you connect simultaneously? All the PartyBoost-compatible speakers you have — there's no limit.
Note: PartyBoost is not compatible with JBL's previous Connect+ system, so you can't pair a Boombox 2 with earlier JBL Bluetooth speakers, like the original Boombox.
Power to spare
The speaker's built-in rechargeable battery gives you up to 24 hours of portable operation. An AC adapter is included for charging the battery or running the system on AC power. There's also a USB Type-A charging output to keep your smartphone or tablet powered up with the Boombox 2. (USB cable not included.)

Features
JBL Signature Pro Sound: The JBL Boombox 2 Bluetooth speaker utilizes two 0.75" tweeters and dual 4" woofers powered by a built-in 80W (AC mode)/60W (Battery mode) amplifier, plus twin side-firing 4" passive radiators to deliver full-range JBL Signature Pro sound. The Boombox 2 delivers optimum clarity, bass, and loudness to create the perfect balanced sound for indoor and outdoor environments.
Bluetooth Audio Streaming: The JBL Boombox 2 features built-in Blueototh 5.1 with support for wireless audio stream (A2DP 1.3) and control (AVRCP 1.6). The JBL Boombox 2 portable speaker streams stereo music wirelessly from Bluetooth-enabled devices such as your smartphone, tablet, computer, laptop, or other compatible source. You'll be able to control Play, Pause, & Skip functions from the speaker. You will need to continue to use your Bluetooth-enabled device for advanced music navigation and to view song/artist information. Multiple Bluetooth source devices can be connected with the Boombox 2 at once, but only one device can be active and used at a time. Once paired, the JBL Boombox 2 will automatically re-connect with paired devices when in wireless range (up to 33').
Note: The JBL Boombox 2 does not support Bluetooth hands-free communication (HFP) for making and answering phone calls.
JBL Portable App: Use the JBL Connect App (for Apple iOS 9.0+ or Android OS 5.0+) to wirelessly pair two JBL Portable compatible speakers together for stereo sound or link multiple JBL Portable compatible speakers to create a bigger party (same audio source is played back through all JBL Portable speakers). Software updates for the speaker can also be done using the JBL Portable app.
IPX7 Waterproof: The JBL Boombox 2 features a rugged, rubber housing and is covered with durable waterproof fabric. The JBL Boombox 2 carries an IPX7 waterproof rating and can even be submerged in water (up to 1m for up to 30 minutes).
Aux Input: In addition to built-in Bluetooth, the JBL Boombox 2 is fitted with a 3.5mm auxiliary input for connection of almost any portable audio player with a headphone output.
USB Charging Port: The JBL Boombox 2 is capable of recharging the battery of a mobile electronic device (like your smartphone or tablet) from the speaker'sUSB-A (5V/2.0A) port. Now you don't need to carry an extra charger to keep your mobile device powered up. The USB port does not support audio playback.
Rechargeable Battery: The JBL Boombox 2 stereo speaker has a built-in, rechargeable Li-ion polymer battery (10,000mAh/7.26V) that provides more than 24 hours of playback time on a single charge. The battery is easily recharged using the included AC power adapter. A full battery charge takes approximately 6.5 hours. The AC power adapter can also be used to power the speaker.

Great sound! Paired it to my smart TV. Much better sound. I had the UE boom speakers, they were good but this blows them away. Carry it all over the house to hear my music. Got a Fantastic price also. Winner winner chicken dinner!!
