I bought this to be a speaker/microphone for my car to be hands free. It's larger than I would have preferred. The sound it pretty good. I like the fact that it shuts off after a period of being inactive but I also need to manually turn it on each time I get in the car. Over all, good value for the price.

Sound quality very good for such small speaker, ease to connect to BT. Range satisfactory. The overall design and functionality great. So far so good. The main question is how long would it hold, what's the built quality. I have not have a chance to clip it to the backpack and take out. I hope it is durable (metal clip and the speaker it self) . Loud and Clear and Lightweight

I cannot believe how clear the sound is, how light it is (it can hang on my belt loop) and it is LOUD (when I need it to be). Fantastic product, love the color and the sound. I often use it all day then then charge it the evening, just like my cellphone.

Surprisingly good for its size!

It hasn't been a month I own this nice speaker. I'm amazed of the good sound for its size. Take it with me practically everywhere, because of the ease to carry. I´m also surprised about how good it works as a speaker phone, clear voice; it actually works better than a bigger bluetooth speaker I own. Have not yet fully test its waterproof capabilities, but looking forward to that. It need a battery level indicator so you know how you are doing on charge when you are out doors and also it would be helpful if it had a back button. Despite that I would definitely recommend it !

Bought for my wife to take to the beach and bike riding. She absolutely loves it. She also uses it in the house and sitting in the back yard. Sound is very good for a little package. We like it so much that we are planning to buy 2 more for our daughters' Christmas presents.

Great little speaker. Sound is good. Perfect for my getaway fishing cabin, job sites, or just washing the truck. I was going to get either Wonderboom 2 or Flip 5 but decided to save a little $$ and downsize to the the Clip 3 for the pure convenience of saving space in tool bag and/or backpack.

I like the size of the speaker plus the built in clip is very functional and convenient which is why I bought it to clip to my chair when I am sitting by the water at the beach. I do wish the bass response was better even though it is a smaller speaker JBL should be able to do better. No way is this speaker worth the regular price but it was on sale for Christmas when I bought it which is about right for this speaker. I guess my expectations where higher because I have a JBL Charge 3 speaker and that speaker is awesome.

I love it!! I have used at 80 feet from phone! I may get a second one! This is a great alternative for my side by side to avoid a very expensive sound bar, and you can answer calls through it!

Great portable speaker

This speaker is great, good volume and long battery life. I use it around the house, on the golf course, and out on a canoe. The only thing that would make this a little bit better would be if there was an audible warning when the battery is getting low. There is a status light on the speaker which indicates low battery, but I tend to listen to the speaker and not necessarily watch it. Crutchfield has great service and fast shipping, always happy to give them my business.

I was looking for a Bluetooth compatible device that I could hang from a hook on a tree next to the lake where we can enjoy cocktails at the end of the day and listen to music from my iPod. The JBL Clip 3 has now become part of our daily ritual, and we love it. The sound that comes from this fit-in-your-palm speaker is remarkable. Even the design is perfect.

For the sale price, it is a good speaker. Small and, so far, rugged enough. The interface with my Pixel2 for hands free calls is just ok but I didn't really get it for that anyway.

Great little speaker!

First impressions really cool product. I will get lots of use out of this item while hiking or working in the yard. The volume is pretty loud, could be louder though, and bass is what it is. The closer you get to the speaker the better the bass gets, but also the closer you get to the speaker the more you hear the distortion. I am knocking off a star for that reason and the fact it didn't come with a charging cable. Just to touch on the distortion a bit more. It is definitely audible at louder volumes and being outside you will definitely have it turned up to hear it. But the distortion is only really noticeable at very close distance. Even at closer distances after listening for a while it starts to blur out, your ears just don't pick up on it anymore. But right out of the box I could hear it, and as time goes on maybe the driver will break in a bit and that will go away some. It is not a deal breaker and at this price I believe it is acceptable. The clip on the speaker is rugged, in fact the entire speaker seems like it will hold up well to daily use. It looks nice and feels quality. The only thing I would have changed maybe is to enlarge the opening on the clip so I could hang it over bigger tree limbs etc , but once again not a deal breaker. I haven't tested the waterproof-ness, but from the looks it seems very tight and shouldn't be a problem, I think it will hold up for sure to some water exposure.

Tiny speaker - big sound

Its actually really good at filling a room with sound. Bass-response is surprisingly distinct and accurate for such a tiny speaker. Battery life is awesome Extremely hard to beat this speaker for size/price
