Piano Black center stage

Jaw dropping performance with wide open soundstage. Heavy for a center channel but indicative of first rate build quality. Extra money but I highly recommend the piano black finish.

I have all the JBL HDI's and this center channel is perfect. The midrange for vocal output is awesome for movies and clean as can be. I also set my preamp to stereo/all speakers playing for music and yes it's better than 2 channel stereo. Why play 2 channels when you can play them all??

Exactly what I was looking for

I recently upgraded my living room setup with a new 85" Sony 4k tv and soon after purchased the new Marantz SR7015 AVR. My current speakers were some small M&K speakers that were fine before but I needed a larger sound. I have always been a JBL fan of their older speakers and have a couple of pairs of 4301's, L112's, and 4430's. The new HDI line looked just what I needed. Crutchfield had an open box choice and I pulled the trigger. A couple of days later, I purchased the matching bookshelf speakers (HDI-1600). Paired with the center channel HDI-4500 and powered by my new Marantz, the sound is amazing. I no longer strain to hear the dialog coming from the center channel. Everything is crystal clear. The HDI series are 4 ohm speakers and was wondering if my Marantz could handle it and it does just fine. I am considering adding a custom Emotiva amp to give them more power.

Great center!

Great sounding center channel, And yes HUGE! Unfortunately it did not blend well with my JBL Studio 590/530 set up. This is pretty an impressive center both in aesthetics and sound. I did return this and the process was as easy as it gets! Great Customer Service!
