Great stand

I bought these as stands for a pair of L100's from the 1970's. The speakers are a little smaller than the new L100's, so the speakers are at the edge of the stands, but you cannot see the stands at all. Speakers fit perfectly and looks nice next to my L100 classic's on the same stands. Stands are very sturdy, blend into the background and makes the speakers look like they are floating in air.

Vintage Upgrade

A very well-made speaker stand. A perfect fit for my vintage JBL L100 Century speakers. A nice upgrade over my previous speaker supports. A bit pricey and probably not worth the money for the sound improvement; but they make for a very clean professional looking installation. Glad I bought them even though it has been 45 years later. I would be thrilled if JBL offered replacement speaker grills for their vintage L100 Century speakers. But that leaves me hunting the Internet for them.

Made to fit right

Very well made as far as fit and finish, as well as providing the right listening angle. A little pricey as far as I'm concerned, but the points earned from the speaker purchase helped soften the blow quite a bit (70.00 extra came off) and I would still highly recommend.

Quality Product

The JBL JS-120's are very well made and fit the JBL L-100's that I purchased new in 1972 absolutely perfectly. I think the stands look great and to my ear, make a great sounding pair of speakers sound even better. The only downside is that they are quite expensive.

High quality speaker stands

Very happy with these JBL speaker stands. They're sturdy and stable and can hold any large "bookshelf" speaker that is similar in size to the JBL L-100. Personally, I liked them because they are metal so my pets can't chew on them! There's padded foam tape on the surfaces to protect your speaker. Acoustically, it improves the sound dramatically from speakers that are just sitting on the floor and the angle is well suited for couch level seating. They may seem a little pricey, but they're worth it!

JBL JS-120

So happy with these stands, I have a set of Large Advents (heavy) on them. Previously they were living on a set of cinder blocks. The stands are essentially the same height as the blocks, but the stands angle the speakers back a couple of degrees and the tweets are more present. Very happy, it's like listening to a new set of speakers. Kudos to Willy in Customer Support for helping me select them.

Classic

Solid with no assembly required. A must if your placing your L100 speaks on the floor. The no slip rubber platform is excellent especially if someone bumps your speaker. Identical to the 70's stands in every way which is hard to find in this day and age. Who says "they don't make them like they used to!"

I am very pleased with the stands. They are perfect for my JBL L100 speakers. They are designed well. My only complaint is the cost. Seems like they should have cost around $100 dollars for the pair - not $300 dollars for the pair. My other problem is I have 4 JBL speakers so I need to buy another pair. Saving up for the 2nd pair.

Optimize your speakers

The welded tube steel construction is well designed, manufactured and very sturdy. I own JBL L50 speakers and they fit well in the stands. The stands bring the speakers to an optimal height for listening. I have floor vent HVAC so I appreciate how open the stand is. That design allowed me to place the speakers in the room where it they produced the best mono and stereo sound. Crutchfield is a reliable name, the cost was competitive and the stands shipped quickly.

I purchased these for my JBL L100 T3 speakers. After removing the bottom plastic speaker stand from the JBLs they fit fine on the stands. My speaker sides are right about even with the sides and the front of the stand is about 2 inches back from the front of the speaker.

Functional but not worth the price. I really like the look of the stands, and don't have the means to fabricate myself, so I bit the bullet. These should really cost $120 at the most based on their construction. Lastly, the speaker contact area has some stick on foam, the same kind that will turn to goo after 10 years, so I'm looking forward to scraping it off the bottoms of my speakers and seeing how it soaked Into the veneer and ruined it 10 years from now.
