Speakers sound great!!! Only reason for 4 stars is the possibility that the speaker cover will deteriorate in salt environment.... the speakers these replaced failed due to the cover failing after 4 years!!!! Sound quality and response is excellent when mounted in the boat "hollow" areas..
Pros: Easy to mount...
Cons: Connections are hard to source if not supplied by JBL

Very good upgrade from the OEM. Wish it would have had a stencil for cut out and a mounting rubber gasket.

Great sounds and great overall look to this speaker. I paired with a Kenwood radio, no amp, but can hear my music doing 30 Knots on the water, very impressed. I have ok issue, the speaker hole cutout is 5 and 1/16 inches. It just doesn't make sense to me why JBL would make this a non standard size. Also, no hex key is included, just be aware of that for the screws included.
