Customer Q&A

5 questions already asked

Are the built in batteries replaceable? If not, what is the life expectancy on the batteries please?

I'm not aware of the PB100 having internal batteries so unfortunately I am not able to help answer your question.
[ George  Apr 02, 2021 ]
They are not "user replaceable" but if you are good in removing some screws, disassembly things and carefully pulling wire plugs from circuit boards I don't see any problem. The battery is available from various online sellers. Lithium rechargeable batteries usually have a life expectancy of 2 to 5 years depending on how you used and charged it. Although Lithium rechargeable batteries don't suffer from memory effect, they will quickly deteriorate from bad use and recharge habits. Don't leave a battery discharged for a prolonged period of time. It's always a good practice to fully charge a lithium rechargeable battery some 30 minutes after use to let it cool down before the charge. Don't interrupt the charging cycle, let it fully charge before use. My Partybox 100 is still going strong after some hard use during the last summer and Xmas holidays and is ready for spring break and next summer. Go ahead and give it a try, you won't regret.

I am not sure if the batteries are replaceable because I have not yet needed to replace them. I bought my speakers in 2019 and they are still working perfectly. I try to fully recharge the batteries before I use them and they can last over 6 hours at max volume. Hope this helps.

No app needed! Once you connect via Bluetooth in you settings the phone volume controls the party box
[ MATTHEW  Dec 06, 2020 ]
All the adjustments are done through the bluetooth capabilities of the phone not an app

can i connect my bose wave radio to jbl partybox 100?

You can connect the PartyBox 100 to your Bose Wave if it has Bluetooth capability and the SoundTouch feature. On the SoundTouch app, press the Menu icon and choose Settings, then Speaker Settings. If you have more than one Bose device, be sure to select the Wave. Choose Bluetooth, tap Pair, and then push the Bluetooth pairing button on the PartyBox 100. After the first pairing, the speaker will reconnect with the Wave automatically in the future. Best of luck!
[ Michael  Dec 01, 2020 ]
No, you can not connect your Bose Wave Radio to power this speaker. Bose is very prideful or their own speakers, my guess is, they wouldn't allow competitors to replace theirs.
[ Deborah  Dec 01, 2020 ]
Can you pair the 100 and 300?
