These make my stock system sound great! I can't wait to install a amplifier.

First let me say the 2 star rating has nothing to do with the actual speakers. The speakers are phenomenal. Solidly made and sounds exceptional. My problem is the delivery. I ordered a brand new pair and I received a set that was pre-opened and rummaged through. I got a replacement and that pair wasn't much better. The box came crushed and again it appears as if someone already went through it. The speakers did not have the seal tape letting you know they are unopened and brand new. I was of half a mind to just call and say "You know what??? Just give me my money back. I will find a vendor that will sell me an actual brand new, never before opened set of speakers" I love the speakers but I am not happy with the delivery at all.
Pros: The sound quality Small crossover foot print
Cons: Big magnet. You may have to do some fabrication to make it fit.

I installed these speakers into a 1978 Corvette. For the rears, they were installed in a custom speaker box that I built a few years ago. The fronts were mounted in custom 16ga sheet metal adapter plates that I made for the project. They replaced a set of Kappa 693.5is in the rears and Alpine SPS-410s in the front. Since the rears were independently amplified and the fronts were driven by the head unit, I wanted to separate the sound stage by moving the mid and high tones from the speaker box to the front of the vehicle. So I opted into these along with the Stadium 32S to build out a new system for the car. They are driven by a Rockford Fosgate P300X2 amp. I'd like it if the highs were just a little bit brighter, but it's a very strong, clean signal. Good bass, thanks to the MDF box no doubt, clean mid and high tones. A sub would be nice, but not mandatory now. Although it was not a problem for my installation, I took a star away for the array of tweeter options available. I had recently installed a set of Infinity Primus 6x9 components in my Jeep, and those included more mounting options for the tweeters than the Stadium, specifically the pivoting tweeter mount is missing. Also, when I purchased the listing, it said grilles were included. This is NOT the case for the 6x9s. I ended up re-using the Infinity grilles that came with the 693.5is. Please don't tell anybody. All in all, I'm happy with how it turned out and would happily run t
Pros: * Good sound for the money * Nice bass response - could still use a sub, but way better throughout the range than most modern factory stereos
Cons: * Would like it if the 2/3-way setup were a single box rather than the two boxes you get when you add on the 32s speakers.
