About the Jensen BT1611I
Jensen's BT1611I CD receiver offers built-in Bluetooth®, plenty of media playback options, and an exciting design. Thanks to the array of built-in features, you won't have to add extra adapters or boxes to enjoy your favorite music and convenient features when you're behind the wheel.
Talking on your compatible mobile phone is easy with the BT1611I. Incoming phone calls mute the stereo automatically, while your contact's caller ID shows up on the screen. You'll hear them over the car's speakers, and they'll hear you loud and clear through the receiver's built-in microphone.
The BT1611I plays your regular CDs, plus discs you've loaded MP3 or WMA files. An SD card slot and USB input give you more audio playback options. And here's a cool feature the BT1611I has a built-in recording feature that lets you transfer MP3/WMA files to an SD card or USB memory device. You can even record songs off of CDs while you're playing it to an SD card or USB thumb drive.
Want more musical options? Connect and control your iPod® with Jensen's included J-Link cable. You'll appreciate the rear auxiliary input as well, for connecting other audio sources or a plug-and-play satellite radio.
Shape the sound you're listening to with the adjustable bass and treble controls, or kick the bass up with the iX-BASS feature. If you want more bass to your system with a powered sub, the 3-channel preamp outputs provide the means.

Overview: The Phase Linear BT1611i is an AM/FM/CD receiver that can play MP3 and WMA files on CD-R and CD-RW discs. The headunit features built-in Bluetooth technology as well as front-panel USB port and SD-card slot. The BT1611i also features a rear-panel stereo RCA auxiliary input and iPod connection.
Detachable Face: The BT1611i is equipped with a detachable face and comes supplied with a hard plastic face case.
LCD Display: The headunit feature a blue background/black text display with adjustable contrast (0-10).
CEA2006 Compliant: The power specifications for the BT1611i are compliant with the CEA2006 Mobile Amplifier Power Testing and Measurement standards from the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). These standards were developed as a way to equitably compare power specs from model to model and between manufacturers. The power output specs for the BT1611i are as follows: 13 watts RMS x 4 channels (at 4 ohms, 20Hz-20kHz, 1% THD-N)
Audio Control: The Phase Linear BT1611i features independent Bass and Treble control which is adjustable from -6 to +6 dB.
iX-BASS: When listening to music at low volume levels, this feature will boost the bass and treble ranges to compensate for the characteristic of human hearing.
CD Player: The unit's built-in CD player supports CD, CD-R, and CD-RW playback; as well as MP3/WMA (32-320 kbps) playback. MP3 and WMA files must be recorded in ISO 9660 Level 1/Level 2, Joliet, or Romeo format. The BT1611i will recognize up to 255 folders and 999 total files. The headunit will display ID3 Tag (version 1.0/1.1) and WMA information up to 31 characters. The unit allows you to navigate through your MP3/WMA folders or directly select a file.
Electronic Skip Protection: The Phase Linear BT1611i offers electronic skip protection (ESP) for CD-Audio (10 seconds) and MP3/WMA (100 seconds) playback.
AM/FM Radio: The headunit features a built-in AM/FM tuner with 3 FM bands and 2 AM bands. You can store 6 station presets in each band giving you a total of 18 FM presets and 12 AM presets. You manually store each preset or have the headunit automatically store your presets using the strongest stations in your area. The unit will automatically pick up a stereo signal, when available. When no stereo signal is available, the unit will automatically revert to mono operation.
Auxiliary Input: The headunit features a rear-panel stereo RCA auxiliary input and comes with a 5' stereo RCA to minijack cable for connecting an external portable audio device.
Preamp Outputs: The headunit features a pair of stereo preamp outputs and a mono-subwoofer preamp output (non-fading).
Confirmation Beep Tones: The beep tone feature allows the selection of an audible beep tone to be heard each time a button is pressed on the face of the radio to confirm its action.
Wireless Remote Control: The Phase Linear BT1611i comes supplied with an IR remote control for wireless operation of the headunit.
iPod Direct: The Phase Linear BT1611i features iPod audio playback, control, information display, and charging of select Apple iPods using the supplied iPod dock adapter cable (jLink). The headunit will support the following iPods - iPod click-wheel (3rd generation), iPod color/photo (4th generation), iPod mini (1st/2nd generation), iPod video (5th generation), iPod nano (1st/2nd/3rd generation), iPod classic (80/120/160GB), and iPod touch (1st generation). The headunit will automatically switch to iPod mode and your iPod will automatically turn on when connected to this unit, as long as your vehicle's ignition is turned over. The BT1611i allows you to search your iPod's music by Playlist, Artist, Album, Song, or Genre (your iPod's controls will be locked once connected).
Note: The headunit will also support audio playback, control, and information display; but not charging for the iPod nano (4th generation) and iPod touch (2nd generation); unless connected in conjunction with the Scosche passPORT (142IFWA, sold separately).
USB Port: The Phase Linear BT1611i features a front-panel USB port for MP3/WMA (32-320 kbps) playback from your USB mass storage device. MP3 and WMA files must be recorded in ISO 9660 Level 1/Level 2, Joliet, or Romeo format. The BT1611i will recognize up to 255 folders and 2,000 total files. The headunit will display ID3 Tag (version 1.0/1.1) and WMA information up to 31 characters. The unit allows you to navigate through your MP3/WMA folders or directly select a file. In addition the BT1611i is equipped with a Record feature that allows you to record music from an inserted disc to an inserted USB thumbdrive.
Note: The headunit's USB port will not support portable hard drives.

MP3 and WMA files must be recorded in ISO 9660 Level 1/Level 2, Joliet, or Romeo format. The BT1611i will recognize up to 255 folders and 2,000 total files. The headunit will display ID3 Tag (version 1.0/1.1) and WMA information up to 31 characters. The unit allows you to navigate through your MP3/WMA folders or directly select a file. In addition the BT1611i is equipped with a Record feature that allows you to record music from an inserted disc to an inserted SD-card.
Built-In Bluetooth: The BT1611i features built-in Bluetooth Technology. Bluetooth wireless technology enables voice communication to be sent via a short-distance digital radio link (2.4GHz) up to approximately 33 feet. The BT1611i supports wireless hands-free communication (HFP) for your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone. The BT1611i allows you to carry on a phone conversation from your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone using the headunit's built-in microphone and your car audio speakers. When there is an incoming call, the unit's LCD will display the Caller ID; if the incoming call has not caller ID, the LCD will display "Phone In". During an incoming call, the audio output of the headunit is muted and a ringtone is heard through your vehicle's speakers. The BT1611i allows you to answer the call manually from the headunit's controls or automatically. You can make outgoing calls by dialing a phone number directly, or from a list of the last 10 dialed numbers.
Note: This unit does not support Phonebook transfer nor will is stream Bluetooth audio.
