    Amplifier & EQ Section

CTA2006 Compliant: The power specifications for the CMR3710 are compliant with the CTA2006 Mobile Amplifier Power Testing and Measurement standards from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). These standards were developed as a way to equitably compare power specs from model to model and between manufacturers. The power output specs for the CMR3710 are as follows -

    • CTA2006 Specs: 16 watts RMS x 4 channels (at 4 ohms, 20Hz-20kHz, 1% THD-N)
    • Maximum Power Output: 50 watts x 4 channels (200 watts total)

The 6 EQ Presets include Classic, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Flat or User. The User mode allows manual adjustment of the unit's 8-Band EQ (62, 150, 400, 1k, 3k, 7k, 12k, 16k Hz). EQ settings are saved by source input (not globally).

Loudness: The Loudness feature compensates for deficiencies in the low and high sound ranges at lower volume.

Source Level: You can increase the relative volume (+/-7dB) of the unit's source inputs to match the external source's output level. The Source Level can be used for the receiver's Tuner, USB, microSD, Aux, or Bluetooth sources.

Beep Tones: An audible beep tone confirms each function selection. The beep tone can be disabled/enabled in the Setup Menu.

    Touchscreen, Remote, & Camera Features

7" Motorized-Retractable Touchscreen: The Jensen CMR3710 features a motorized-retractable 7" touchscreen LCD monitor for easy visibility and simple control. The unit provides brightness, gamma, contrast, sharpness, saturation, and hue adjustments. It also lets you select between 4 different wall-paper backgrounds. In addition, you can adjust the angle of the monitor for better visibility.

    • Secondary LCD Screen: In addition to the 7" motorized-retractable monitor, the CMR3710 features a secondary LCD screen that can be used during music playback for track & song information. You will need to use the 7" LCD touchscreen monitor for menu functions and to view video.
    • Hard-Key Controls w/ Variable Color Illumination: In addition to the touchscreen controls, the unit includes frequently used buttons and a rotary-dial along the front-panel. You can adjust the color of the head unit's button illumination from Red, Purple, Blue, Green, Orange, and Red.

Front & Rear Camera Inputs: The Jensen CMR3710 features dual camera inputs for adding a front-view and/or rear-view camera (both sold separately - see Accessories Tab). There is a front camera input and a rear camera input. Both camera inputs consist of a composite RCA jack. The rear camera input also features a corresponding analog audio input that consists of a mono-RCA jack. We have a Sirius subscription already with our Jeep. Will I need to "transfer" this subscription to this radio, or will it continue to work?
    [ John  Feb 22, 2021 ]
    1 answer
We must look at the vehicle to know if a factory installed satellite tuner will continue to work with aftermarket radios as well as all the gear needed to keep satellite radio working in the vehicle. I recommend contacting an advisor by calling 1-800-324-9695 to check options and get a personal recommendation on the gear

Is there a way to have it open automatically once the car has turned on or is it just manually with the button?
    [ Schmity  Nov 01, 2020 ]
    2 answers
If it is open when you turn the vehicle off, it should close automatically when you turn it off if it is wired correctly. If it closes this way, when you turn the power off to the car, when you turn it back on it should automatically open.
    [ JASON  Nov 01, 2020 ]
It opens automatically when you start your car. You have to manually close it if you want it tucked away. I've had mine for almost a year and it's THE best radio for the money so far.
    [ STYVEN  Nov 01, 2020 ]
Can I mirror screen navigation and listen to the radio at the same time?
    [ Don  Aug 04, 2020 ]

This will not display navigation on the screen, it will give you voice prompts when connected via bluetooth.
    [ Calvin  Aug 20, 2020 ]  Staff
If your phone has a navigation app it will tell directions and temporarily mute the radio.

    [ David  Jul 31, 2020 ]
    1 answer
Hi David, thank you for your question. The Jensen CMR3710 receiver will allow you to still utilize the receiver, even when the screen is stored. For accessing the menu features however, the touchscreen will need to be used for that.

I did not install the Jensen as it was received slightly damaged. Crutchfield was going to replace the broken part but subsequent discussion with a technician led me to decide that a Kenwood X503 had more and better features. That being said, the Kenwood paired easily with my iPhone Bill
