These KFC-1696PS 6-1/2" speakers rock a polypropylene cone with a diamond array pattern, which minimizes distortion, while a rubber surround ensures overall durability. All the musical details are handled by the balanced dome tweeter, and dispersion is improved by Kenwood's proprietary Sound Field Enhancer.

Kenwood's Acoustic Sound Harmonizer uses slots on the mount housing the tweeter to improve the transition to the higher frequencies, so you'll experience a smoother sound overall. Grilles are included for custom installations.

I have a 2020 Buick Envision with the stock head unit. I have a Rockford Fosgate 300 watt amp and 12" sub woofer hooked to it and want to install these speakers in the front and rear doors. Will they work and will they sound good?

These do not have the bass you might be looking for. They are really for a more clearer sound coming from the dash.

Hi Jaime. There are two baffles that would work with these speakers. Depending on the depth available at your speaker location, will determine the proper size baffle. You can use a 3" or a 3.25" depth baffle. Do I need and AMP if this is the only upgrade I am making? I am only replacing the speakers, and I am not running from a box in the back.

They would sound better with an amp but you don't need one. Most factory or aftermarket radios would be able to power them adequately.

I bought these speakers and did not need to use an amp. They wired directly to the head unit harness that matched my car. Double check your sizing before ordering. I called the help number and the Crutchfield staff basically built me an entirely new system over the phone. You won't be disappointed.
