The box is made from high density particle board and covered with black carpet.
There are four port openings located on the top of the box.
There are two spring clip speaker terminals
on the rear.
The front shows the red Kenwood woofers (with a foam surround) behind two plexiglass windows (9.25"W x 10.5"H).
The windows are clear in the middle and gray on the edges. Each window is held in by 14 hex bolts and requires an Allen wrench to open
Besides the rated input of 100 watts, the manual also lists maximum input power of 200 watts and peak input power of 300 watts.
The sensitivity of this unit is 88 dB/W at 1 m, but Kenwood also publishes a 108 dB/W in car figure.
Manual Correction: The manual states that 2- 14 ft lengths of wire are included, but they were not included in the box we opened.
