Perfect

I got sick of the stock wire taking up a valuable plug and just looking overall shoddy. This solved that problem by tucking away neatly and being powered by the fuse tap, out of sight, out of mind. The cord is plenty long enough .
Pros: Straightforward installation Easy to hide Kenwood quality

Find another way to hardwire your camera

This kit is shoddily made. The first one didn't work at all. The second one worked for the camera, but the piggy-back fuse socket was loose, so what I plugged into it kept turning off. Quality control for this product is presumably horrible. If you can, find a different product to wire your Kenwood dash cam.
Pros: It's from Kenwood and, presumably, Crutchfield has a fair return policy.
Cons: It's not well made.

A must have if you have a KENWOOD Dash Cam. The fuse taps made it super easy to install in my BMW 328i. The hardest part was removing the A pillar so I can run the cable neatly out of sight.
Pros: Very easy, no splicing wires.
Cons: NONE

Better than having wire plugged into 12v. Dash cam works great.
