Overview: The Kenwood KCA-iP102 USB Direct Connection Cable for iPod allows you to connect a compatible 30-pin iPod or iPhone to a 2011-up USB-equipped Kenwood in-dash head unit. This cable enables a Kenwood head unit to control and charge your iPod while connected, as well as enable high-speed iPod data communication so you can listen to your iTunes content through your compatible Kenwood head unit.

This cable is less expensive than what is available locally. My local stereo place wanted $49.95 for the same thing! This cable while inexpensive is actually a pretty heavy duty rugged cable which is more than suitable for wiring up my ipod to my new head unit.
