Crisp and clear
Crutchfield customer from Converse, TX on 9/27/2020
Got tired of the stock speakers in my 2019 Peterbilt 579. I also replaced the stock rear 6.5 with kenwood 6.5 added a Sony 10" home theater sub ran off a Sony mex-gs620bt and this truck I now to rock and roll. The speakers bolted right in just no pigtail. But no biggie. And I he Sony deck has the power to push them. All in all they sound great.

Nice sounding speaker

The speakers are very clear and they get pretty loud.
Pros: Clear on the top end Gets loud
Cons: You need to set the low cut on the amplifier to around 200 Hz to really get the full potential out of the speaker because the bass can really choke it up

Great Speakers! Easy Installation!
Crutchfield customer from Edmonds, WA on 3/18/2020
2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
These are very good quality speakers. The installation went well. I was unsure about how to do the wiring and there weren't any instructions about how to do it, but when I was installing them, I discovered that there was only one way to do it. The free wiring harness adapter that was included with the speakers is a wonderful addition. Even a novice like me can do it. After it was all done, I was surprised how easy it was to do it. We went on a road trip afterward and it was so nice to have such great sound. These speakers replaced the stock rear speakers in our 2002 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab. The speakers were slightly larger than the holes for the old speakers. I cut some thick cardboard to lift the speakers out a bit so they would fit in the holes.
Pros: The wiring harness adapter that specifically fit our truck model makes installation much easier. The overall quality and great sound of the speakers.
Cons: The instructions did not mention the wiring. Even though the wiring was easy, the installation instructions should say something about it to avoid preinstallation anxiety.

Not sure why these and then the replacement Polk Audio speakers sound like tinny junk in our Jeep dash. Original, 16 year old speakers sounded better. Disappointing.

They fit perfectly in my 2006 Silverado regular cab, with some drilling required. Installation was very easy with the install kit. So far they sound great! I also purchased the Kenwood Excelon KFC-X174
Pros: Sounds Great
Cons: Had to fade the sound towards the front due to its placement in the truck (right next to my head) more of a Truck design problem...
