Overview: The KNA-VC300 microphone and talk switch allow you to control the Kenwood KNA-DV3100 navigation system through voice recognition. You can configure the Voice Recognition system to accept an English (U.S.) male voice, English (U.S.) female voice, or a number of other languages. With Voice Recognition, you can operate the navigation system totally hands free.
Installation: The microphone and talk switch plug directly into the KNA-DV3100. For optimum pick-up, the microphone should be positioned 8" to 16" in front of you. The microphone clip has a self-adhesive backing that allows you to mount the microphone on any flat surface, as long as it does not interfere with vehicle operation. The talk switch also has a self-adhesive backing and should be mounted within reach.
