Been a while since I have bought an amp but I paired the with the loaded Excelon underseat 10" and this set up hits! Could not believe how small this amp is and it turned out it worked out perfect for the space I needed.
Pros: small size, smooth look, plenty of power
Cons:

Lots of punch in a small package. Powering 2 10 inch 4 ohm exelon subs at wired parallel to 2 ohms. Definitely feel the nice crisp punch. Unfortunately my 2002 silverado must be rusting underneath because when i crank them up i get rust droppings underneath the truck. Lol
Pros: Size, power, clean bass
Cons: None

Kenwood Excelon X502-1

The X502-1 would be ideal for anyone wanting to run just 1 sub. If you are looking to add missing bass to your factory system set, this amp works great. Don't expect to reproduce earth shaking bass. If that's what you want, get a bigger amp! The high level inputs made for a simple installation. 8 gauge power and ground is sufficient for this amp. It would have been nice to have a variable sub-sonic filter instead of the preset 25 Hertz. For those whom are curious, I paired the amp with one 12" Rockford Fosgate P2D4-12 in a ported Sound Ordnance enclosure, also purchased through Crutchfield. The box was of decent quality. Overall, I was pleased with the sound quality. This is a good set up for those wanting to just add a decent amount of missing bass. Once again, if you want a ton of bass, get a bigger amp and pair it with the appropriate power rated sub(s) and correctly sized enclosure
Pros: Compact, well built amp, will not strain your stock electrical system
Cons: It does not have a variable subsonic filter which maybe important to those using ported enclosures. Also, I'm not a fan of spade connector type terminals

Amazing I learned from my mistake of buying a cheap Boss with this and I can say this makes my Kenwood p-xw1001b sub sound a lot better. It goes to say getting a quality amp is worth the money. It does not overheat at all unlike the boss amp and I drive it it longer than I ever did for example at a car meet that was a few hours. Only thing I just wish it had an adjustable subsonic filter, but the fix on shall suffice.
Pros: Hard to overheat Bass is clear
Cons: No adjustable subsonic filter

This amp is freaking awesome! It provides tons of power to a KICKER - CompR 12" Dual-Voice-Coil 2-Ohm Loaded Subwoofer Enclosure. All my friends are blown away with the sound and power. I highly recommend this for the budget minded customer.
Pros: Clean sound, tons of power.
Cons: Zero, none, just get it!

Compact, sleek design provides the perfect amount of clean, undistorted power to my Kenwood Excelon P-XRW1202DB box/sub combination. Paired this amp with a bass knob to enable quick bass level adjustments to avoid annoying the neighbors or squeak out a little more bass when I don't want to dive into my equalizer menus.
Pros: Compact and powerful.
Cons: Bass knob comes must be purchased separately.

Very capable little mono amplifier for use in tight spaces .. I had the previous model an X501-1, it too was quite an impressive performer. The 502-1 is a bit more refined with a cleaner output. Neither unit was disappointing.
Pros: Very good bass output for its size.
Cons: None so far.

Great new model amp with excellent connectors and low heat
Crutchfield customer from Knoxville, TN on 4/1/2019
Paired this up with a JL Audio 12W3v3-2 at 2OHMS. Perfect wattage! Works great with a factory radio. I was able to tie into the rear speakers in my Ford Mustang using T-Taps and the amp comes with a speaker level input quick disconnect cable/wires. The amp turns on/off automatically by detecting a signal to the speaker wires, so no need to run a power control wire. You can use ring terminals on your power/ground and speaker output which is really a great feature for a dependable connection! You can also turn on/off the infrasonic filter to protect your sub from low frequencies that are below what you can hear anyway. I also purchased the Kenwood Excelon KCA-RC01A Bass knob which is pretty much a necessity, so buy it! Overall I am very impressed with the attention to detail and how hard one sub hits in my Mustang!
Pros: Screw on terminal connectors for solid ring connections, compact design, low heat. Newer model year than many competing models.
Cons: Warranty is only 1 year.
