About the Axxess XSVI-1784-NAV Wiring Interface

This Axxess XSVI-1784-NAV wiring interface lets you replace the factory radio in your 2007-13 Sprinter using the existing wiring and connectors. This interface provides an accessory wire connection which you'll need to connect an aftermarket stereo. Hook the XSVI-1784-NAV to your aftermarket radio, mount the module, and plug it into the existing factory plug. It also includes the connection you need if you plan to install an aftermarket navigation receiver.
Also, once you turn off the ignition in the Sprinter, the radio continues to play until you open the door. This interface maintains that function with your new aftermarket radio. This interface is compatible with select 2007-09 Dodge Sprinter and 2010-up Mercedes-Benz Sprinter models. If you haven't done so already, please enter your vehicle information or call an Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to find out if this item is compatible with your vehicle. Warranty: 1 year.

Features
Radio Replacement Interface: The XSVI-1784-NAV interface module provides a 10-amp/12-volt accessory output along with outputs to install an aftermarket navigation radio in select 2007-2013 Dodge, Mercedes, and Freightliner Sprinter vehicles without amplified systems or when the factory amplifier is being removed.
Vehicle Compatibility: The XSVI-1784-NAV interface module is compatible with the following 2007-2013 Dodge, Mercedes, and Freightliner Sprinter vehicle (without amplified systems or when replacing the factory amplifier).
Make | Model | Year |
Dodge | Sprinter | 2007 |
Sprinter (w/ Sound 5 radio) | 2008-2009 | |
Mercedes | Sprinter (w/ Sound 5 radio) | 2010-2013 |
Freightliner | Sprinter | 2007 |
Sprinter (w/ Sound 5 radio) | 2008-2013 |
R.A.P. (Retained Accessory Power): The R.A.P. (Retained Accessory Power) function supplies power to the radio after the ignition is turned off, until one of the front doors is opened.
Accessory Output: In the Sprinter vehicles listed above, there is no 12-volt accessory wire currently in the factory harness making the installer run an accessory wire to the fuse box or underneath the steering column when installing an aftermarket radio. The XSVI-1784-NAV is designed to provide a 12-volt, 10-amp switched accessory output along with the rest of the wires needed to install an aftermarket radio.
Navigation Outputs: The XSVI-1784-NAV also provides essential wires required for aftermarket radios that have navigation. Provided are VSS (Vehicle Speed Sense), Reverse, and Parking Brake, This cuts down the installation time since the installer does not have to look for these wires in the vehicle.
Optional SWC Adapter: You can add the the Axxess ASWC-1 Steering Wheel Control Interface (120ASWC1, sold separately) to retain your vehicle's factory steering wheel controls.

I used this on my non steering wheel interface installation on my 2012 Freightliner Sprinter. It does make this a simple plug and play installation. I don't have a rear camera installed, but the Boss receiver is receiving notification from the OEM harness and this harness when I am in reverse.
