1x2 HDMI Splitter: The Ethereal CS-1X2HDMSPL5 HDMI splitter incorporates a single HDMI 2.0 input with two HDMI 2.0 outputs allowing you to share a single standard definition, high definition, or ultra high definition source device (like a Blu-ray player, Game Console or Satellite/Cable receiver) with two displays (such as flat-panel TVs and/or front projectors).

Built-In Scaling & EDID Management: Thanks to built-in scaling and EDID management, the CS-1X2HDMSPL5 provides the ability to take any standard resolution and downscale it to match each of the connected displays (up to 2), simultaneously. For example, show 4K@60Hz content on a 4K display while also showing the same content scaled down on a 1080p display. Unlike traditional splitters, this built-in scaling allows legacy devices to work with newer higher resolution displays in the system, without automatically defaulting to the lowest resolution. Video quality on newer TVs is no longer sacrificed by having an older model in the mix. You can select between 3 modes -

• Copy: This mode copies the EDID of the display hooked up to output 1 and scales down to the other display hooked up to output 2.
• Auto: This mode allows the unit to only go as high as 4K@60Hz Non-HDR. It will still down scale from there, but if you have a TV and source that are capable of HDR then it will not display the HDR signal.
• Mixed: This mode uses the highest common denominator. Meaning, if you have one TV that is 1080P and another TV that is 4K@60 HDR then it will only display 1080P like traditional splitters.

HDMI 2.0 (18Gbps): The CS-1X2HDMSPL5 HDMI splitter supports HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, along with Ultra HD 4K and HDR video. The splitter is capable of receiving and transmitting video bandwidths up to 18Gbps.

• 4K Resolution: The CS-1X2HDMSPL5 is compatible with ultra-HD video resolutions up to 4k @ 60Hz with support of YCBR 4:4:4 color subsampling. It is also compatible with high definition video up to 1080p @ 60Hz; even 3D video. In addition, it supports 720p, 480p, and 480i video signals.
• HDR Formats: The Ethereal 1x2 HDMI splitter supports all the major HDR formats - including HDR 10, Dolby Vision, and HLG (Hybrid-Log Gamma).
• HDCP 2.2 Compliant: HDCP 2.2 is supported by all of the HDMI splitter's inputs & outputs; HDCP is short for "High bandwidth Digital Content Protection" and is used for 4K video copyright protection for compatibility with 4K Blu-ray players and 4K Satellite/Cable providers.

Up to 7.1ch Audio: The Ethereal CS-1X2HDMSPL5 HDMI splitter supports up to LPCM 7.1ch, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio.

LED Indicators: The Ethereal 1x2 HDMI splitter features 3 LEDs to indicate Power and Output (1-2) status. These LEDs will illuminate Blue when the device is connected to power and connected to up to 2 displays.

AC Power Adapter: The included AC/USB power adapter comes with a 32" microUSB-to-USB cable that plugs into the power adapter and the back of the 1x2 HDMI splitter. The A/USB power adapter needs to be plugged into an AC wall outlet or surge protector (sold separately - see Accessories Tab)

Mounting Options: The CS-1X2HDMSPL5 comes with two brackets and four screws to mount the brackets to the 1x2 HDMI splitter. The mounting brackets allow you to secure the HDMI splitter to a shelf (mounting screws for shelf not included).
