Works but...
Ben from McRae, AR on 5/23/2019
2010 Hyundai Genesis
This connector fits the factory wiring, however as noted by another review my reception got much worse. My factory plug has 2 wires running into it and this one only uses one. It is the correct adapter upon further investigation just doesn't seem to pick up as well as it should. Nothing that Crutchfield would have effect on. Just not sure it's the best design
Pros: It fits and does pick up some stations
Cons: Reception quality dropped off to minimum

Connects..
Joe from Dry Ridge, KY on 4/11/2017
The connection fits but it's bulky and makes craming it behind the new deck difficult when added to all the other new wiring harnesses. Also I'm not sure if this is a result of the new deck or the antenna adapter but my radio reception is not as clear. I notice static in more areas now then I did with the factory deck. I know Most people don't use radio anymore and have turned to digital media so this may not matter. But for me and the other few that still use radio maybe it will help.
Pros: Connects
Cons: Poor reception

Does Not Fit 2009 Kia Sportage!!!
Moe from Florida on 12/11/2012

This Adapter did NOT fit my vehicle. I had to cut the plastic frame housing to connect to my car...SMH the male connecting pin fits if you cut around the plastic.
Pros: Free
Cons: Has to be modified for 2009 Kia Sportage.

Metra 40-KI10 Antenna Adapter
Crutchfield customer from Franklinville, NJ on 2/9/2012

I had to take the plug apart to use it as the plastic piece didn't fit into the car wire correctly. Then had to tape it to protect it. Not a good fit.
Pros: None
Cons: Didn't work, had to take plastic apart.
