These cables totally work. The tabs fit great and behaved completely as expected, my *slight* problem with it is that the fit of the ports were very tight, such that I couldn't get it on the contacts without bending the casing and honestly didn't get them on as cleanly as I would have liked. In a perfect world these would be a little looser and then have a method for squishing the contacts (think like an ethernet cable or some kind of crimping).

They work!

They work perfectly. Both ends fit just fine. Note that if you're using them in a 2nd gen MR2 with the premium sound, you may end up not using them. On my install the head unit did not play nicely with the stock amps, so I ended up rewiring everything including running new wire to the door speakers, which then eliminates the connector in the door, therefore eliminating the need for these adapters. But that's not a negative reflection on the connectors, it's just that as with everything else on the MR2, audio is a pain in the butt. ;)

Did not fit

I ordered two of these for my 1993 Toyota Tercel. I was installing (2) Rockford Fosgate P16's and (2) Rockford Fosgate P142's. 1. They fit into the front door stock harnesses easy. 2. The prongs were too small to fit on the negative and positive terminals to either speakers. ^^ Had to snip these off and add our own. 3. The rear speakers, didn't even have the right harness. ^^ We had to remove the stock harness from the stock speaker, and put it on the already changed aftermarket harness.
