91 dodge caravan
Crutchfield customer from Fort Collins, CO on 10/2/2020
1991 Dodge Caravan
They worked for my rear trunk speakers in my 91 dodge caravan with infinity system. They felt extremely cheap and very fragile but it hey were plug and play and made me get sound back out of my stereo
Pros: Plug and play, kept me from tracing and splicing wires
Cons: Cheaply made, they weren't expensive but I'm sure they cost $1-$2 to make

At least they did not cost anything. Suppose to adapt to the factory harness. Not even close. Had to throw these away and cut and splice the old fashioned way using a wiring diagram to fine the correct 2 wires in the factory 6 wire harness. All works fine now.

Great harness
Jack from Albemarle, NC on 11/19/2017
1995 Dodge Dakota
I emailed photos of my existing wiring connectors, and Crutchfield provided the Metra harnesses to interface my old speaker wires with my new JBL Stage 8602 rear speakers. It was as easy as falling off a log, and the advisors were great in picking the right harness for a 22 year old truck. Great product, but greater service!
Pros: It was very easy to use the Metra harness to hook up new speakers to existing wiring
Cons: None

Not right part for my car
Crash from North Carolina on 4/28/2015
1998 Chrysler Cirrus
This is not the adapter you need for a 1998 Chrysler Cirrus. Not sure what car they are for, however they are not what I needed. I discovered this after I had torn the back of my car out to install the new speakers and was not going to do it again, so I just went old school and cut the ends off the factory wiring. This install would have been so much easier had they sent the correct adapters. So let this be a lesson to you, check the adapters before you get started. In reality I need the same adapters as were sent for the front speakers. So not sure why Crutchfield dropped the ball on this, however in fairness it is the only time I have had a problem with any order. Had it been the correct adapter I would have given 5 stars, so the rating reflects the wrong part sent.
Pros:
Cons: Not the right adapter for my 1998 Chrysler Cirrus.

Plug N Play
Andrew from OC, California on 8/23/2008
1995 Chrysler LHS
Plug n Play. Plugged the fat end in to the chryler fat thing and the other two wires to the speakers. Can't get any easier than that. Crutchfield sent them free while others are charging $15.00 a pair. Crutchfield customer service is over the top friendly and knowledgable. Will continue to buy from them. They are always cheapest priced too.
