Product Research

Features

Metra Speaker Harness: Metra speaker harnesses prevent you from having to cut your vehicle's factory speaker plugs when replacing your factory speakers with aftermarket car speakers. The Metra speaker harness features two female quick-slide connectors on one end to attach directly to your new aftermarket car speakers & a proprietary Molex connector on the other end that connects to your vehicle's factory speaker plug.

Quick-Slide Connectors: The Metra speaker harness is equipped with a large (positive) & small (negative) female quick-slide terminal. These quick-slide terminals fit directly onto most aftermarket car stereo speaker terminals (slight crimping may be required). In rare cases that the quick-slide terminals do not fit your car speaker terminals, you will need to solder the Metra speaker harness to your aftermarket speaker's terminals or replace the quick-slide connectors on the Metra speaker harness with the correct size terminal.

Note: Installation tools, hardware, & accessories are not included & sold separately. Please see the Accessories tab for recommendations & availability.

Quick-Slide Terminal Measurements: The positive female quick-slide terminal measures 0.205" (inner width), while the negative female quick-slide terminal measures 0.115" (inner width).

Wire Code Chart: Two identical Metra speaker harnesses are included.

For that speaker location, there is no adapter harness. Simply cut off the wires and connect directly to the aftermarket subwoofer.

Does this fit a 2013 Subaru BRZ door speakers?
[ Shawn  Jan 11, 2021 ]

Yes with the supplied bracket. The only modifications I had to make was with the mids that needed a bracket to mount to the factory location. I cut the one off the factory speaker and it worked perfectly

Q
Will these fit my 2001 toyota tundra ?
[ ELISHA  Jul 07, 2020 ]
1 answer
A
These will not work in your Tundra. We have not been able to find speaker harnesses for them. The only solution we have to replace the speakers and reuse the stock wiring is to cut the plug off that wiring and attach quick slide connectors: www.crutchfield.com/p_120FQS10PK/item.html

Q
Will this work for 2017 Toyota Tacoma corner dash?
[ LUCIO DOMINGO  Nov 12, 2019 ]
1 answer
A
Hi Lucio, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, there are no speaker harnesses available for the corner dash speakers in the 2017 Tacoma. You will need to splice, or tap into the vehicle's stock speaker wire in order to add new speakers into that location.

Q
Do you carry connectors that will pair up from a base 2017 STI system to the Harmon Kardon upgrade speakers, in the front/rear doors?
[ Craig  Oct 12, 2019 ]
1 answer
A
Hi Craig, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we would be unable to guarantee fitment of these harnesses if you are looking to upgrade your current speakers, for a set of the factory upgraded Harman Kardon speakers for your vehicle. It looks to be that the plugs for the vehicle with the H/K system installed, are different than the base model speaker connections. You may wish to reach out to your local dealership regarding the installation of those speakers.

Q
Will these work for 3.5" dash speakers in 2018 Toyota Rav4 w/ jbl system?
[ Patrick  Sep 16, 2019 ]
1 answer
A
These are the harnesses for the front and rear doors in the RAV4, yes. It is not the harness for the dash speakers ( we don't have one), or for the 8 inch subwoofer ( we do have that one).

[ Cameron  Dec 17, 2018 ]

They are recommended for the front door tweeters, yes. All of the other factory speakers either use a different harness or do not require one to connect to an aftermarket speaker.

Q
Will these work for 2018 Subaru wrx base?
[ Bryan  Apr 21, 2018 ]
1 answer
A
It sounds like you have the version of that car that came without the Harman Kardon sound system. If this is correct for your's, then these harnesses will work in the front and the rear door speaker locations! My Bio: http://www.crutchfield.com/Support/Bio.aspx?bio=101
