1992 Chevrolet Lumina
It appears to fit various models of radios and cars. A bit flimsy but it does hold the radio.
Pros: It holds the radio.
Cons: A bit flimsy.

Lumina kit

1994 Chevrolet Lumina
This kit had clear instructions and fit the car perfectly.
Pros: Good quality materials with clear instructions.
Cons: You still have to cut out the tabs for this vehicle. I suppose it will be that way with any kit you get.

First Car Stereo

1992 Chevrolet Lumina
I have a 1992 Chevy Lumina Euro 2-dr Coupe and this thing fit like a charm! This was my first stereo install, and it was somewhat flawless (minor issue with the mastersheet not the product). This doesn't look bad at all. It's made out of strong plastic, so no worry of it breaking when putting together. After the whole install, it looks like it was professionally installed! I have a Kenwood KDC-X596 that sits perfectly into this kit. I'm so glad Crutchfield gives you this free with most stereo purchases because I would have probably have spent more than $20 for a poor build kit.
Pros: Free with stereo, fits 1992 Chevy Lumina, strong build, easy to assemble
Cons: NONE

Perfect fit for 1992 Lumina
CraigC from Baltimore, MD on 4/11/2012
1992 Chevrolet Lumina
This was a perfect fit for a 1992 Chevy Lumina. The original GM unit was a double DIN or 1.5, and this fits perfectly to replace with a single DIN. Used with Alpine CDE-122 receiver and installed flawlessly. It has breakable tabs that make it work pefectly with the cassette head unit or FM receiver unit. Whichever OEM unit you had, this will work for you. As stated, it adds a 1" extension that protrudes outward that the faceplate sits in. But it looks great and nothing was out of place or ugly about it. When added for free with a receiver purchase from Crutchfield, you can't go wrong.
Pros: Flawless fit, Easy install, Looks great
Cons: None
