Dash kit is okay. The design makes getting everything lined up really finicky and tedious. The dowel studs were also lined up incorrectly so I had to modify it for the bezel to fit.

2009 Chevrolet Avalanche
Unit worked out well with the Jensen CAR710W that I paired with it. The only complaint I had was the documentation - read it carefully and a few times, then it will click on what you need to do. The left and right pieces need to be screwed to your head unit while they are slotted onto the bezel with the screws that come with your head unit. It is a little cumbersome but it is doable - watch the video that Crutchfield made and you will save some headache. The last thing, the bezel goes on one way, and it is easy to put it on upside down. Do a dry fit first and you'll save a bit of time.
Pros: Looks great when finished
Cons: The documentation could use some work and a marking on the bezel show what way is up would be nice.

Overall, it worked fine. It doesn't seem to allow the dash trim bezel to fit exactly flat, and doesn't appear to be adjustable to fit exactly square in the hole. My biggest complaint is that it sets the radio back about a quarter of an inch, rather than allowing it to be flush with the dash like the factory radio. This makes it difficult to accurately tap the volume buttons on the edge of the radio.

Took me a while to figure it out, which seems weird for something with only 3 pieces. The instructions don't tell you to remove the DIN chassis from the radio - wasted considerable time trying to make it work with it on. Once I did that, it was easy to figure out how it should go - instructions are worthless. The JVC-KW-M788BH head is recessed almost 1/2" and there is no way to bring it farther forward, which partially hides the small function buttons on the left edge when sitting in the driver seat. There was enough wiggle room to shift the unit slightly to the right, which helps some. Otherwise, once assembled, the unit fit perfectly into the dash. My only concern is longevity. This mount is entirely plastic and seems flimsier than the OEM mount, particularly since it doesn't use the DIN chassis. The new head is much shorter and lighter than the factory radio, so it's probably okay, but I may end up improvising something to support the back of the head (OEM unit had that support and needed it).

I've installed a number of car stereos in my 50+ years. This install kit worked fine but it's a bit flimsy. Also, the double DIN Boss head unit I bought with it only lined up to be able to have 2 screws per side. Would have certainly preferred 3 or 4 for a 4x4 truck.

It worked but instructions are not very clear on what holes to use, how tight to tighten it or how many screws you need to secure it. Feels just a little flimsy but pretty solid installed. Only issue was the opening was a little tight of a fit for the Kenwood DDX5707S (had to sort -of push it past the bezel to be tight against the face)

My stereo was the boss bv765blc The kit fit my dash very well easy to install but I thought the face plate was too thick for the volume knob on the stereo I used my grinder and cut it in the backside to thin the plate and it is perfect only took an extra 10 min Would buy again

So glad I read reviews for this before I gave up on it! On the Boss radio I got you have to remove the bezel around the front of the radio before this will go on. After I got that figured out installation was a breeze. Didn't require any readjustment after the first try.

Super easy to configure and install. With the Boss radio. you need to pull the extra bezel off the radio for a proper fit.

2013 GMC Sierra
This worked to maintain the factory appearance and hold the radio in place just fine. If you're a perfectionist, you might be unsatisfied as it does not line up exactly (at least with my vehicle). Would be nice if the bracket mounting pieces were metal, but they're plastic instead. Make sure to have screws as mine did not come with them. Luckily, I had some extras lying around that happened to fit. Overall, for the price I can't complain too much though.

2011 GMC Yukon XL Denali
This kit was supposed to fit in my 2011 GMC Yukon XL Denali. I really like how the sides do not clip into the front and the screws actually bolt through the front and sides to provide more structural support. However, this does not fit very well in the factory position. It is too wide at the top and must be trimmed to fit between the trim panel. I have not had this happen in the 4-5 other vehicle specific dash kits in the past. Not a huge deal but wish it fit better

This is a good dash kit and looks sharp in my 09' Chevy Avalanche.
Pros:
Cons: No mention that the metal cage surrounding my stereo had to be removed for this to be attached. It also did not come with screws to attach it to my stereo.

Almost perfect fit. Radio ends up a quarter inch from flush with dash. At least it's sunken and not protruding. May be able to modify it slightly for a better fit. No other issues.

The dash Mount was perfect easy to assemble and easy to install and gives a good look to my Dash.
Pros: Easy to assemble it looks good on my truck.
Cons: Could be manufactured a little more rigid but once radio has been installed in the frame work and then installed on the truck it has a tighter feel to it.
