Very Flimsy

Very flimsy plastic that does not hold the Sony stereo very tight. After installation you can still move the unit side to side about a quarter of an inch. So while it looks great and functions okay, they could have done a much better job of making sure it was more solid construction.

Perfect fit and works well but could use some improvements

Great addition to your upgrade arsenal. fits perfectly in the factory location with no modifications comes with all the necessary screws you need to mount you new radio into the factory location. Even though it was perfect match and works great to mount the your new head unit. It has a design flaw the back part which slides into a track is made of two pieces making a bit flimsy when sliding into place but once on its sturdy enough to hold the unit
Pros: perfect match to your factory location and comes with necessary hardware
Cons: the back mount which slides into a rail is in two pieces which makes a bit difficult to slide in

Works but not a great fit.
Crutchfield customer from Newnan, GA on 3/8/2020

The last two stereos I installed (same kit) would attach to the kit but not a great fit. It was a little too large for the first stereo. Once installed the for was not noticable. The kit was not quite wide enough for the 2nd stereo. I split the difference and best as I could and used it. It's not noticable unless you are looking for it. I've used Metra kits several times before this one. Each for perfectly.
