Works OK
DaveN from Yorktown, NY on 5/10/2016

Fits as described, but the other edge is not ridged enough and can interfere with the display screen when tilting. The side flanges slide into the face frame as they should, but the screw cut outs on the front are too large, and difficult to fasten properly.
Pros: Works good enough, but far from ideal
Cons: Let the hunt for just the right size flat screw head begin

Missing a few mounting tabs
fish8037 from Kentucky on 10/3/2015
2008 Hyundai Tiburon
Easy to install with easy to follow instructions as always from Crutchfield. The only issue I have with this product is the factory radio mount had two lower screw tabs to support the radio from the bottom, with four more on the sides. This product only had the side mounts which worked fine but I was a little concerned that the bottom mounts would hold the double din unit up better had they been there. Time will tell. Other than that, installation was a breeze. I would recommend this product to a friend.
Pros: Easy to install, instructions clear and easy to follow. Took less than 4 minutes to clip off the extra tabs and put double din into place
Cons: Missing two lower mounts that were on the factory mount

Dash Kit for radio install on 2004 Hyundai Sonata GLS
y10az from Irvine, CA on 9/11/2015
2004 Hyundai Sonata
Perfect Dash Kit to mount the new radio that replaced the factory radio in the '04 Sonata. It's plastic, but the side parts are quite sturdy. It did not come with screws - so we used the 4 screws that came with the radio. Lots of openings on the side so you can make sure it will align. Installed straight in without having to readjust. There's a 4-prong and 3-prong on the sides, so really only one way to put it together, although it did come with instructions and the sides are labeled (left/right). I would have preferred a few more screws to really secure the radio, but realistically: there's no where for the radio to go, so 4 screws will definitely suffice to keep it well in place. Recommend this product.
Pros: Easy install (comes with instructions & sides are labeled); perfect fit.
Cons: plastic, albeit sturdy; no screws

Intsalled ok except the pieces didn't line up exactly as designed. I ended up need to remove the stereo and part of the several times in an attempt to get the face plate to fit properly around the stereo. In the end the the trim ring did not fit into the hole in the dash property and is slightly askew.
Pros: Better than using nothing.
Cons: Tolerance is off and does not fit well enough to look like a professional install.

Fits 2005 Santa Fe better than 95-7309 kit
scott from New York on 5/27/2015
Fits in my 2005 Santa Fe better than the 95-7309 kit that was designed for it. Still had to modify it slightly by extending the current "cutout" on top by about an inch on each side. Was way less modification than the 7309 kit would have required. With the later model first gen Santa Fe's the buttons and indicators above the heat vents are different, when the dash is put back in place they put pressure on the dash kit and in turn bends the top of the face of the head unit above the dvd slot. I would like to add that this kit allows the head unit to sit where it should instead of extremely recessed like the 7309 kit. (i couldn't even grab my volume knob it was so deep before) Also, Crutchfield has the image of this kit upside down.
Pros: Fits Late model first gen Santa Fe's
Cons: Still requires slight modification

Does NOT fit a 2004 Santa Fe
SamA from New Hampshire on 5/3/2015
This was sent as part of the installation kit I purchased along with the Jensen VX-3022 unit for my wife's 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe (has the 6-CD Monsoon unit). This 95-7313 IS EASILY 1/8"+ too wide for the opening in the dash of the Santa Fe. In fact a Santa Fe isn't even listed in the manual that comes with the 95-7313. I had to cut pieces off and glue part of it back together so it would fit and allow me to get the dash piece back on correctly.
Pros: It was part of the install kit
Cons: it doesn't fit an 04 Santa Fe double DIN opening w/o modifying the 95-7313

After reading many very negative reviews about Metra install kits for my 2006 Tiburon I was a little concerned when I had to order this one. After receiving and reviewing the installation instructions I began the install and I now wonder what all of the negativity was about! The kit installed my Pioneer double dim radio perfectly and, including tying all the wires together, the total installation time was about one hour.
Pros: Perfect fit

Works like a charm. Don't manhandle it or you can break it!. In the 2003 Santa fe install upside down!! And lower in the cavity than the original double din radio. Careful with install screws the fascia is plastic and if you over torque screws, you'll be sorry.
Pros: Easy to use and install. Crutchfield to the rescue again, the included kits make install a breeze, as does the master sheet.
Cons: Can be broken with relative ease if you don't pay attention. But that can be said of many things.

Metra 95-7313 Dash Kit
Steve S. from Billerica, MA on 1/23/2014
Installed into a 2005 Kia Optima LX with a Pioneer AVH-X4500BT. This is a DVD reciever, unfortunately the Metra kit will NOT work with DVD players that have a fold down screen to load the DVD(Metra tech rep replied to my e-mail confirming this). Just used side pieces. Good customer support from Metra but wish they had a note in the booklet that came with it indicating that the above receiver will not fit.
Pros: Fit the vehicle well. Installation booklet did have instructions regarding vehicle trim removal.
Cons: Frame portion cannot be used for tilt loading DVD players.

Decent product! Works as intended, facilitates installation of head unit. Although, the bracket should be more application specific in that it should replicate all anchor points of the OEM equipment so it can provide equal support.
Pros: Best option out there
Cons: Requires minor mods for the 2003 Tiburon

Perfect fit Hyundai Santafe!!
Brian from Racine, WI on 6/4/2013
Eventhough this kit is not listed for a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe, it is the perfect fit for it If you have the Monsoon stereo upgrade. (Perhaps others as well, not sure on that) The one recomended by Crutchfield does not work due to being too bulky, this kit will work and look like factory. I have a Sony XAV-64bt and it look awesome
Pros: Looks like factory and easy to install.
Cons: Metra Should look through their products and verify that this is the appropriate kit for a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe So Customers don't purchase the wrong product.

Good fit after some trimming
Crutchfield customer from Kansas City, MO on 5/1/2012
2001 Hyundai Elantra
The bracket fit my double DIN head unit perfectly with a couple minor exceptions. The side tabs on this kit provide a number of precut openings for mounting screws. One opening on each side aligned perfectly with the existing screw locations on my head unit. Two more required minor enlarging of the tab opening to line up well. After making this mod I had two screws on each side securely holding the bracket to the head unit. I then tried sliding the bracket into the dash opening and discovered that more trimming was needed to allow the bracket to align properly in the dash opening. First I had to trim about an eight of an inch off of each side tab on the kit where they protruded above the top of the head unit. Until I did this the unit sat too low in the dash to line up with the dash mounting screw holes. Once that was done the radio itself fit fine but then I noticed that the mounting tabs sticking out in front to mount the radio to the dash were too long to allow the car trim panel to be reinstalled properly after the radio was installed. I shortened those tabs up with a dremel tool so the panel would seat properly on both sides of the radio and that still left plenty of mounting surface under the screw heads to secure the unit to the dash. This all sounds like more work than it really was. The plastic parts are pretty easy to trim. The end result is a securely mounted good looking install.
Pros: Looks very good once it's installed in my 01 Elantra. Very professional looking.
Cons: Needs some minor work with a razor knife or ideally a Dremel tool to fit properly.

Fits, but need some work
Gypsy from lancaster pa on 1/28/2012
2008 Hyundai Tiburon
It fits, but it is very very snug. I had a hard time get it to line up right. There are two holes in the dash for mounting at the top, this only uses one and its not the top hole i found out (the directions are very unclear here). Plus even after remounting to the lower hole i could not get the dash faceplate on. I had to loosen the screws and push it as high as i could while keeping it mounted in the lower holes. The dash plate still took some work getting on. If you don't do the push up, the bottom brackets in the dash plate will not meet the lower holes. I also had to trim a bit of the plastic off the outside edge of the kit and really push towards the radio on both sides on the dash plate to get that area to pop into place.
Pros: Once you get it in, it looks great and just like a factory install.
Cons: was alot more work than i was expecting to get it to line up correctly.

Required modification
Kevin from Hillsboro, OR on 4/6/2010
I got this with the Clarion NX409. The trim piece the brackets fit into didn't fit around the face of the deck, but th fit was fine with just the deck face. The brackets themselves required some additional drilling to match up with the deck's screw holes. In the ones it lined up with naturally, it caused the deck to be too recessed in a 2001 Elantra. But, it worked after some slight modification, and making one plate for every deck out there can be tricky, so I'll give them some credit. In the end, it got the job done, just not quite out of the box.

Works....but....
Crutchfield customer from The USA on 9/18/2009
2007 Hyundai Tiburon
For single-to-double din upgrade, this kit needs some tweaking to fit in the '07 Tib. I had to cut the brackets apart, using the lower 3-hole tab part (as pictured) to make the HU fit. Not a perfect fit, as the lower mounting holes in the dash console are recessed back. Still, works using just the upper mounting holes and drilling a couple of additional holes for support.
