The dash kit fits and looks amazing. Makes it look stock like it belongs there.
Pros: Perfect fit. Looks great.
Cons: I guess it could be even better if the kit came in different colors to match exactly but black works great.

It does it's job
Pros: Build quality if acceptable, fitment with the dash opening is precise
Cons: I'm sure this depends on a head-unit, but when I installed Soundstream VR-652NB DVD Receiver using this kit, I found that the edge was fit a little too tight and it pressed on the button inadvertently. To remedy, I had to drummel off the top right corner inside edge so that the button isn't pressed.

Does not fit Clarion CX501

2009 Kia Rondo
This trim piece does not fit the Clarion CX501. I do not know if the radio is too large or if the trim piece is too small, but they are about 2mm off. Crutchfield advertises this as a perfect fit, but speaking with tech support a second time confirmed that the dimensions do not line up. (I thought the technician on my first call was rude. He simply said that it was a standard double-DIN and therefore would fit. No offer to confirm the dimensions of offer any other assistance.) I am left having to modify the piece or return the radio and purchase another. The second tech was helpful and friendly.
