product fit and looks correct. bottom edge does not stay pressed properly flush, but overall great fit and price for product.
Pros: price, ease of use, clean appearance
Cons: no bolts on bottom to keep bottom section in flush.

It is quality plastic molded into the proper shape to fit my 2001 Nissan Maxima with an aftermarket stereo. holes were big enough to allow minut adjustments so as to have even gaps all the way around

Dash kit plates looks good once it has been installed. Side mounts of the kit could be improve upon to better attach to Radio receiver.
Pros: Price of Dash kit.
Cons: Side mounting tab of connector to Radio could be improve upon.

I also had trouble getting it to fit right. After a while of messing with it I was able to make it look ok. There is a gap at the bottom and the top shape does not match the contour of the vent unit. The color is pretty close to the factory color. Overall it does the job.
Pros: Free with head unit.
Cons: Does not fit like the factory trim ring.

It was a little tricky to get this fitted correctly, but once I did it gave the appearance that the aftermarket radio was a factory option.
Pros: Gives a factory installed look

Came with a Clarion NX604. When it came time to put the trim ring on had issues lining up the screw holes on the sides of the trim kit with the radio/HVAC controls bracket. When the trim ring did go on, it left about a 1/8" to 1/4" gap between the it and the top of the HVAC controls. I am going to try and modify the brackets today (bend them?), but it is not as clean as I would expect from a "custom designed, vehicle specific" trim kit.
Pros: Color pretty well matches the car interior trim.
Cons: Fitment is an issue. Gap at the bottom of the trim ring. Doesn't meet flush with the HVAC control unit.

2003 Nissan Maxima
Had more gap at the bottom than I'd expected. Had to work with it a good bit for it to look right. Color was a couple shades off from factory trim pieces in 2003 Maxima. Overall, I'm happy with the finished product.
Pros: Price (free with radio), does what it's supposed to.
Cons: Color doesn't match dash (assuming it's supposed to). Gap at the bottom could be tighter.
