I got this Dash kit and I'm disappointed. When slipping over the side brackets and the frame and into the car radio for a test fit, there is too much play. So much so, that it looks like it was not meant for a DD radio. In addition, the frame at the top of the radio fits flush as it should be, but at the bottom the radio, it sinks about 1/2" and there is about a 1/4" gap on the top of the frame (see photo). I realize you can't expect much for an inexpensive dash kit but I would have gladly paid $5 more if they made a better fit for my car. Now I have to modify the dash kit so that it's flush with the dash of my car -at least to a reasonable degree. It was a real challenge trying to get the amp wire -among other setbacks- from the back of my car to the battery and now I have to deal with this dash kit that is not user friendly for modifications because it'so flimsy. I may have to buy a few of them in case my first attempts fails. I thought it was going to be fun installing my car radio but it's more trouble that it's worth. I suppose if I was younger, I would not be lamenting.

Good fit for my JVC unit

2002 Mazda MPV
Fits correctly in my Mazda MPV 2002 van. It provides a nice and clean look. Feels a bit flimsy since its plastic. So time will tell how it wears out.
Pros: Matches the trim of the vehicle and the head unit. Easy to attach to the music system and to the vehicle.
Cons: Flimsy feel since its made of hard plastic or at least feels like that.

Nice dash kit to provide professional look

Overall I am very happy wit this bracket mount and dash kit. It really setup the double-din unit up in a very professional look within the dashboard
Pros: It looks fantastic - linked up perfectly to the dash and hvac controls
Cons: The screws didn't really work with the kit and the unit. I was able to get them tight but they were really incorrect length and type.
