This Dash kit was missing the screws needed to assemble the kit. This was disappointing to find out at this stage( when your whole dash is apart and a stereo with wires everywhere). I had to go to the hardware store like this and buy some screws that would work. Unfortunately I bought some that were barely longer than ones that should have come with the kit. Unfortunately this left dimples, making the final install look shoddy.
Pros:
Cons: Missing essential screws

It's the only thing that you can get for a Honda HRV, unfortunately, because radios don't fit super well in it. There is a bezel around the entire thing. Just make sure that you will be ok with that

You are gonna buy this if you have an HRV despite this review, because there isnt anything else available. This is a shoddy install kit. Metra had the great idea to put a 1/4 x 1/4 bezel all the way around the radio, this completely takes the cleanliness of the install away, now instead of having your head unit face sitting flush with the install kit, you have a crater all the way around your head unit, and thats the only thing i can see every time i look over at it. A big CRATER. I have the "or was the" Flagship Pioneer head unit, 8200 nex. There is no trim ring, you cant even order one, and what if you have one? who knows if it will fit perfectly into the gap, you may just end up with a slightly smaller crater. I dont get this design. Metra really dropped the ball on this, and no matter how i look at it, I hate it. In the end does it matter? No, because there isnt another product on the market to compete with it. You are stuck. Enjoy!
Pros: it holds a radio
Cons: another poorly designed (at least it was designed) product for the Hrv.
