Q
What size receiver does this hold?

A
Says double din

This kit holds a Double Din radio. However if buying a new radio I would suggest a shallow mount Double Din radio due to the amount of cables connecting to the radio. I mounted a pioneer AVH-X2800BS along with the steering wheel control module from crutchfield. I ran out of space behind the radio thanks to honda not the kit. But if I would of used a shallow mount double din radio which is half the depth of my pioneer I would of have no problems

It is really close. In my opinion it has more of a matte black finish. My only issue with it is that it does not fit as well as the stock one. When looking at it directly it looks fine, but if you look at it from the bottom where the compartment is, there is a small gap between the new face plate and the bottom compartment. It still looks nice and doesn't bother me that much just because you can only notice it if you are looking at it from below.

No but it looks good and fits tight. Looks factory for sure. I was surprised. My wife insisted on using it for her nav. I installed and it looked great.

It's very close, maybe a little darker if anything.
