Perfect fit to my 2012 Prius v w/JBL Nav/audio and the new Kenwood DNX6990HD installation.
Pros: Fits well and is very stable
Cons: Would have been nicer if it used the same metal mounting bracket as the old JBL, but it is fine the way it comes.

Terrible fit and does not match

2015 Toyota Prius V
This does not fit a Prius V at all. Crutchfield was nice enough to refund my purchase but I cannot find anyone making one that actually fits! So i have a big hole in my car around my stereo. Honestly, I'm second-guessing upgrading my stereo at this point.

Color doesn't match, cheap plastic mounts, and the screws that are used are not appropriate. I don't know why they don't go with slightly longer button caps...seems like a poor choice. Also, this does NOT clip into the existing clips, so it's press fit in place by the other components that fit around the dash kit (vents, glove box, and gear selection/push start button) in our Prius V.

This thing just doesn't fit well. I have a 2015 Prius V. I have the same problems as the other reviewers. It holds the stereo in but there is a big gap by the AC controls and the AC vent doesn't fit will either.

poor fit

I had high hopes about this product. The finish is nice and looks good with the original features of the dash. The fit, however is not so good. The original radio has clips along the lower edge which hold it tight against the AC control panel. This kit does not have that and leaves a 4mm gap between the dash kit and the AC control. The top edge doesn't have a good fit either. There is a curvature to the dash fit which doesn't line up with the vents. Like the other reviewer, I messed with adjusting the stereo mounts to get it to fix better, to no avail.

2015 Toyota Prius V
Don't waste your money on this, it doesn't fit a 2015 Prius V. When this is installed, the upper dash vent piece doesn't fit. I tried adjusting my radio every way possible to no avail. I called Crutchfield support (which is awesome by the way), and they sent me another one just in case I got a defective item. Apparently, they're all defective because the new one doesn't fit either. It's sort of difficult to see how it fits in my photos, but there is a noticeable gap between the trim pieces when this faceplate is installed. Just to be sure it wasn't my radio placement, I took the radio out completely and just installed the panels. It doesn't fit with the radio out of the dash either. I was really hopeful about this, but it turned out to be very disappointing. I must say, for the hundreds of dollars I spent on my radio and install kit, I'm fairly upset that it doesn't fit when the website said that it would. Crutchfield seems to have half of the equation right. Their customer service is on point. But, the products being sold on their website are garbage. Probably won't be shopping here again.
