Q
Will a 1/2 Din EQ fit in the pocket? I have an Eclipse 1/2 Din EQ I want to install with my single din head unit.
[ Tomas Torres  May 10, 2018 ]
1 answer
A
No. The pocket is not a standard DIN or 0.5 DIN size; it's made to fill the additional factory space when installing a single DIN stereo in the stock location of compatible vehicles. Any 0.5 DIN install in addition to the DIN stereo will require custom work.

Q
Anybody used this to install an Alpine Halo9 yet? Does it work well?
[ VASTracing  Mar 03, 2018 ]
1 answer
A
The Alpine iLXF-309 is not recommended for dash kits with "snap-on" brackets, such as the Metra 99-3305 Dash Kit. It requires a dash kit with "bolt-on" brackets for a secure fit in your dash. For more details or to discuss further, please contact an Advisor directly by phone (888.955.6000) or online chat.

I've have a huge problem I originally bought a 7 inch double din radio and no dash kit fit so I brought it back and got a single din radio, the dual xdvd110bt and the scosche dash kit I got with it doesn't fit around the radio without breaking it. Is there any special dash kit I can buy? For my 2008 gmc sierra?
