mounts line up perfectly, seems a little flimsy, but once in place its pretty solid. the extra storage pocket is really only suitable for your usb cable. the center of the dash trim doesn't fit flush, but since its behind the receiver you don't see it.

Fits like a glove

When the salesman at another store recommended a dash kit, it was for 2004-08. Lincoln MKZ might of changed their layout or used a bad source of information/reference. For now on when I check for radios that fit specific cars through Crutchfield (my personal preference) I'm going to order wire harness kits and Dash kits through them.

Fit's like a glove

Fit's perfectly. It was very easy to install. However, the kit comes with 2 different types of mounting brackets. The install manual does a terrible job of describing which one to use. In fact, if i remember correctly, it was pointing me toward the wrong one. Just look at the mounting hardware attached to your factory radio, then look at where the bolts go in the dash for mounting. You will then be able to look at the plastic mounting kit and know which one to use. I am giving this a 4-Star rating because i feel like they could have gone with a hard plastic type for the mount. It mounts and holds in place, which is all you need. I just didn't like the how "flexible" the plastic seemed. I would buy this product again irregardless because I seriously doubt that mount will break inside the dash from normal wear and tare.

there is a ton of flex in the dash kit, you feel the radio move every time you touch it. The supports should be metal just the factory ones it replaces.

It was a good product for the price. Was put in 2008 Lincoln MKZ. Didn't fit perfectly, little smaller than the opening but it didn't bother me enough to return. Plus I got a seven inch touch screen that hides the imperfections.

Metra dash kit

This product was well made and designed to be installed by the novice to the pro. I used the metra dash kit in my wife's lincoln and it blended right in with the interior unlike some products that take away from the eligance of the factory interior.
