I read some other 1 star reviews and looked the the photos submitted. I was having the same issue with the corners not fitting properly and thought I was going to have to trim the kit to fit. Turns out there is a top and bottom, and it's not labeled as to which is which, but after I flipped it around, it fit perfectly! I wasn't sure about the metal sleeve as to how it would work as the space that was for the radio was too large for anything to grab onto. I just left it in the original spot and flipped up a few tabs and it holds it in place very well. This was installed on a 2002 Chrysler Sebring Convertible, May 2022

I had to go with 4 stars on this one On the 01 WJ limited the factory trimplate had to be slightly modified at the lower 2 corners so that it would fit. Approximately 1/8 inch had to come off the two bottom corners. Otherwise, easy install.

Fitment is spot on perfect. This dash kit fit my vehicle perfectly with out any hassle. I'm giving it a 4 star instead of 5 star because I question its longevity. This bracket only supports the radio at the front. The rear of the radio is not supported and I question if the kit will hold up over time. That said I don't see any sag or bounce when driving over rough roads at this time.

I installed this in my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. There is a top and bottom. Be careful of orientation when installing. I made the mistake of installing it upside down and struggled to get the factory trim panel to Snap on. When I flipped the bezel and installed correctly it is a perfect seamless fit better than Factory. Looks great.

Yes, you can make your own with cutting, clipping, and bending plastic trim adapters, but why? This little product looks like it was done by the professionals and it fit like a fine leather glove. Right fit, right color, right hole alignment, right set-up pins, right distance to/from the dash, right metal attachment - the right stuff for a great setup. 2005 Dodge 2500 Diesel 4 door w/50K MIles and no longer has the OEM stereo that worked, but is NOW so much better!
Pros: This company tossed it in my cart for FREE and I needed it greatly. It not only worked but fit like a glove and looks like it should - Nice, Correct, and looking pretty!

Perfect to make an aftermarket head unit look like it came stock in your vehicle! I was worried but after I installed it, I couldn't be more happy in my 2003 Jeep Wrangler. You will need to use the bendable little metal tabs on the metal radio sleeve to secure this or it may cause the radio to shift around a bit. Once settled in, this is perfect and after a day out on the bumpy trails, it remained locked in nicely.

2004 Dodge Ram. Doesn't fit in the dash cover. The corners don't align properly. This kit was included by Crutchfield with a new car stereo purchase, and is a bit nicer in finish than the previous kit I had for my old stereo but I just re-used that one since it fit.
Pros: Has the center pin to help align and provide additional support.
Cons: Doesn't fit the 2004 Dodge Ram dash.

The Dash Kit did fit the Sony receiver I purchased. Depending on you vehicle, you may have a large open void in your dash after removing your old stero. This item supports the new stereo completely on this dash kit. It is not very wide so there is a lot of weight just on this plastic face dash piece.
Pros: Fits fine, lines up with screw holes.
Cons: Wish it hat a little more support for the stereo that sits in it. When you slide your metal support sleve in and bend the tabs that is all that is holding the stereo in place.

This dash kit is offered for the 2006 Chrysler Sebring sedan and dodge stratus sedan. It does not fit. There is no way secure the radio and it will just slide out. Crutchfield please update your database

I have a 2004 Dodge Stratus and This particular dash kit has issues, the biggest being that there is no Shelf to hold the back of the Radio up so it is not secure in the dash. When I ordered the product there was no warning from the expert who did the order for me. When I called tech support they were unable to offer any kind of help other than to apologize. He did look up the correct dash kit and I was told they no longer offer the one that I needed
