Looking for an inexpensive solution to replacing the radio in my 2005 Accord. Perfect fit every time. [ THEODORE  Dec 29, 2016 ]
A
Because Honda has horrible Radio Design and my factory radio malfunctioned. It would either cost $200 + to buy a new factory radio which could also fail on me. Or I could replace the radio. Well replacing the radio means I'd have to buy a whole new Climate Control unit that runs just around $200 as well and then I'd have to buy a new radio. I bought this dash kit because it came with the radio I bought for free and means I just saved around $100 [ Grant  Dec 27, 2016 ]
A

purchased for placement of an aftermarket SINGLE DIN radio in my 2005 Accord - after purchase, realized I didn't like losing the space of the large pocket and the radio placement -opting instead to replace the SINGLE DIN radio with a DOUBLE DIN radio and Metra 99-7803 Dash Kit - this incorporates new controls for my car's climate controls and the opening for a 4" high stereo unit. Q
Does the wiring harness allow you to retain power to the old radio? I want to retain my clock because the Sony head units and a few others don't show a clock without sacrifice.

A
You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with your factory system. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and see if this will integrate. If it does not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you.

Q
Hey I was thinking about getting one of these and I was wondering if I do, and I install an average single din stereo, would I be able to retain my steering wheel volume control? Thanks
[ Sahil  Jan 19, 2015 ]

A
The ability to retain steering wheel controls with aftermarket receivers will be determined by the receiver you are using and the vehicle you have. For full information on this type of integration (including the parts you will need) please contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat.
